Good Food

Tripps is a good place to dine. The restaurant is in a great location with easy in and out access. The food is very good and the price is good. This is a good place to dine with the family or alone. Good selection of food.

Tripps in Greensboro was really good. It was my first time at a Tripps. They give a delicious bread with a dipping sauce while you wait. I enjoyed the fried calamari appetizer. It has roasted red peppers and olives in a great sauce and grated parm cheese. I also had the blackened chicken quesadilla which had a great flavor and... More

Don't order a loaded baked potato. Loaded at Tripps means butter and sour cream and a side salad for $7.29. That combo at Wendy's costs about $3.00 and the potato comes with cheese. When asked about it, told you have to pay more for other items. Won't be back.

We visited Tripps for dinner. I wanted barbecue ribs but the smallest portion was a rack and a half. My waitress let me order the lunch-size portion, which was more than I could eat when combined with my delicious beans, mixed veggies and appetizer. The service was a bit slow but the restaurant was crowded and my waitress was new.... More

Ate there on 07/02/15 at 7ish. Others in my party of 4 felt their entries were decent, but my Ribeye Steak (special) was not very good. It was a bit tough (which was not really unexpected for the price), but it was EXTREMELY salty. I had others in my party try a piece and they agreed. I don't ever send... More

Arrived 630ish. ...saw 8 or so empty clean tables......got my name, handed me a pager/beeper....thought that was weird in that they were not busy at all. Hostess peruses for tables, comes back, attempts to seat us in the bar. I didn't want to sit in the bar. Asked for one of the clean tables in the EMPTY section.....wait staff couldn't... More

The restaurant was very clean and had a great family atmosphere! Our server was prompt and kept refilling our drinks without us having to ask. The food is excellent and the value is excellent as well. I would certainly go back and eat there again next time we are in the Greensboro area!

I usually come to Tripps every other Monday, the service is always excellent and the food is great. I always get the petite sirloin medium rare and it's always cooked to perfection. They added more TV's in the tavern area so it's worth the visit to sit and watch all the sports that's going on. Overall, my experience to tripps... More

This restaurant was right next to our hotel so our group of 10 tried it. Everyone was very happy with the meal and excellent service. The majority of our group odered the bone in ribeye and each person raved about them.
