The Finest in Greensboro

Artfully presented food, friendly atmosphere, nice wine selection. 1618 is where we bring guests from out of town to show off. Sesame crusted ahi tuna with feta cabbage and wasabi mash potoatoes is amazing. All the fish is great and event the beef tenderloin is great. All the food is presented... read more

1618 is by far our favorite restaurant in Greensboro. There food is always delicious and consistent with high quality ingredients. Every time we go we are amazed at how they never disappoint. There cocktails menu is different and amazing. You have to try their brunch mimosas, so good and no one else does them the way they do. Their brunch... More

1618 is one of the best restaurants Greensboro has to offer. We often make it a choice for business dinners and company group celebrations. With such unique entrees it sets itself apart from all other restaurants in the city.

Feb-3 -2015 I was in Greensboro NC for business, based on Local residence recommendations I went to 1618 seafood restaurant. I had one the best halibut I have ever had. Great plate presentation, Taste out of this world, excellent service with a great ambiance.

For consistently wonderful food, great service, and good atmosphere, this is our very favorite restaurant. It's pricey, but worth it.

Searched Trip Advisor for Greensboro restos before recent business trip, found this was #2 and it became #1 for me because of proximity to where I was working. For first visit, when seating was full, we got great (full) service at the bar, and the sesame seed crusted seared ahi was so good (I have eaten variants of this in... More

We have eaten here several times. It is widely regarded as the best restaurant in Greensboro, but I always leave thinking it is overrated. The chef does try to be inventive in a deconstructed way. But, frankly this makes many dishes muddled and "fussy." I get that perhaps he is trying to give diners a big city experience, but this... More

It's their unique flavoring that brings traditional dishes to life and the service is impeccable. The only reason I can't give them five stars is because they ran out of a menu item and served our entrees at different times. We had sea bass, scallops, and a few appetizers. Key lime pie was a favorite and again unique. Service was... More

Sadly this meal was a big disappointment and very pricey. At $35 an entree average, I should not be wanting for better portions and a better overall dining experience. The couple with us were celebrating his 65th birthday and they selected this restaurant. His meal was pitifully small and could have been an appetizer. I am not all about overeating... More
