A group of our business associates took a foreign vendors to dinner. Exceptional meal creatively presented. Our server, Damian, was top notch. If you're entertaining customers, GO THERE!

This is a very good place to eat. Nice and quiet. The customer service is excellent. The drinks are real drinks. The food is very good. Good place for anniversaries, date night and casual dinning with friends.

I've been to many restaurants good, better, best, but 1618 is extraordinary. On a recommendation of a customer, we took a group to dine. The waitstaff, location and personality of 1618 is a great supporting cast to the menu and it's diversity. I had the crispy chicken stuffed with macaroni and cheese, bourbon glazed over a buttermilk chive biscuit with... More

Wow! This rather hidden place is a dream come true for us. Elegant menu, great service, nice atmosphere, fantastic wine list if you need it and a $12 corkage fee. What could be bad! We were treated to a complimentary calamari app that let us know we were in for something special. Our tuna and scallop entrees were beautifully presented... More

We were pleasantly surprised to find this place tucked off of Friendly Ave after receiving a gift certificate to 1618. Creative and eclectic menu, especially in Greensboro, with positively delicious entrees and an upscale yet casual atmosphere. Prices are what you'd expect for a nice dinner, and absolutely worth it.

This was a recommendation from the hotel...and I was somewhat hesitant as we wanted seafood and we thought, hmmm.. seafood in Greensboro may not be that good... well, were we ever wrong. this ranks as one of the top 10 I have dined in across the US. Start with a server who knows his stuff, Jake. Then each dish was... More

One of my wife's customers recommended this restaurant to us late yesterday evening, as we were looking for a place to take a visiting friend to eat. What a great suggestion it turned out to be.... We walked in, without reservations, but the young lady was able to seat us in the bar, since the restaurant was full. On the... More

My first visit to 1618 was fantastic. The ambiance in this converted firehouse was casual, energetic and hip, but sophisticated. The bourbon selection was surprisingly above average. The seared ahi tuna appetizer was absolutely delicious with its smoky, but delicate undertone. The portions of the appetizer were a bit small, especially given the price, but worth the experience. The grilled... More
