Fried, grease, and fried more. More batter than "frozen shrimp". Not impressed at all. Service was bad. Won't be back.

Food fresh, good tasting, good service , mostly Calabash style but lite breading and not overcooked. Pricing was modest with daily specials.

This resturant was as good as I remember. We had the seafood platter and it was GREAT. What do you go somewhere and pay twice as much? You just don't know about this jem of a place. They have daily specials that are lees than fast food and the quality is top notch. Do yourself a favor and try this... More

My wife and I went here for dinner on 03-15-2014 and even though our server Terri was awesome the food was very substandard and the response from the manager on duty and the owner made it even worse. First, they charge a $1.00 additional fee for scallops and oysters which has seemed to be the standard around here now, what... More

Years ago, Mayflower was wonderful. These days, you get served a pile of grease by someone who doesn't care if you're there or not.

Stopped for lunch and our first impressions was that the hostess did not want to be there. Seemed to have a very uncaring attitude, moving real slow, not smiling acting like we were disturbing her by coming in. The hostess would then go in the back and new customers coming in would have to wait for her to finally come... More

This is a "production" seafood restaurant--too much grease, not enough fresh seafood flavor. There is better, yet more expensive, seafood available in our area.

None of the food had much flavor. The fried fish was just okay after I added extra seasoning to give it some flavor. The cabbage was bland and I found the cole slaw to be inedible. The hush puppies were decent, even though they looked and tasted like a combination of hush puppies and onion rings. The best thing about... More

Fish, french fries, hush puppies..they all taste the same ..like everything is cooked in the same oil and the baked potatoes are always burnt.
