The sushi here is good. The only thing about this place is it is not in a fancy building nor do they have a ton of fancy specialty rolls. The sushi chef (i assume owner) gave me a roll on the house. The waitress was stopped several times to check on me. Both the sushi chef and who I assume... More

We knew we wanted a good-quality, fun sushi experience, so we decided to take a gamble on this place. The staff was so nice! We got a whole free sushi roll, asked by the chef if our food was good, and were treated like regulars even though it was our first time. The sushi rolls were delicious as well. Definitely... More

We were invited for an informal lunch, Akashi was the place we went too. We loved the sushi and noodles. Service was great and we were well entertained. Guess you need to see for yourself

We had dinner here one night and were happy we did. The sushi and kitchen food were excellent. They make the food more authentic than a lot of places. It was not watered down for American tastes. We were surprised it was not more crowded. Overall, this was a great dining experience.

An authentic Japanese restaurant with excellent food! The owner is Japanese and brings dishes to the menu not found on other local "Japanese" restaurants. Be adventurous and go with those for a treat.

We happened upon this restaurant by accident due to a wrong exit. So glad we did! Not only was it the best sushi I have ever had, their vegetarian sushi selection was also great. Definitely going back!

The staff were attentive to guests and to maintaining a high quality dining experience. Most dishes were $10-$20 and the sushi and hibachi were well prepared. Beautiful, relaxing decor. A great find for us on TripAdvisor as we were traveling through the area, and I am so happy to have a "go-to" place for dinner when we travel this way... More

I have to give this place 5 stars for their friendliness and yummy sushi. I work near by so I order sushi every so often from this restaurant. Every time I order 2, they give me 3. They may be a little slow when you eat in, but the food is good.

The restaurant is unassuming with bad location. We've never seen the restaurant full which is a shame because the food is excellent. Chef is from Japan and he seems to know what he's doing. Our family's been going there for over 5 years now and we think it's the best Japanese restaurant in Greensboro.

This place is one of the best in greensboro!!! Three of us went to eat at this restaurant for the sushi and was not disappointed. But what added to the great sushi was the great care we received. If you like sushi, this is the place to go.
