Great food to take home!!!!

I ran out of time and energy one afternoon and stopped by Giacomo's. He was there and said "don't worry about dinner, I'll cook for you"....he wasn't kidding! I went home with a fresh baked tray of the most delicious eggplant parmesan, fresh pasta and sauce and sausage bread - the only bad thing... read more

Love, love, love this place. The sandwiches are amazing. The sausages are soooo much better than others. If you are a lover of Italian food, you will love this place. Most of their business is take-out, although there are a few little tables inside if you want to sit and eat. Ambiance is more Italian grocery than restaurant, but the... More

Bar none, the very tastiest sandwich I have ever eaten. Generous and authentic, fresh cured meats (this is not an oxymoron) scrumptious cheeses, perfect bread, long on garlic, and flavored San Pellegrino. Delish!

We have traveled all over and never expected to find such an authentic Italian Market right here in NC. We greatly enjoyed the meatball Parmesan, the Italian Stallion, and a Pauletta (grilled eggplant) sandwiches. We also ate some pasta salad with diced ham and salami that was delicious. The tomatoes and mozzarella was outstanding as were the olives. If I... More

Walking into Giacamo's brings back memories of Italy. The aromas and displays are pure Italian. Their subs are fantastic all made fresh to order. They have many Italian delicacies to choose from. Their catering food is reasonable and scrumptious.

Comparable to a NYdeli. Everything was good except the meatballs. They were so full of bread, they tasted like a dinner roll.

We stopped at Giacomo's for some takeout sandwiches. They were all excellent, fully loaded with their good deli meat. It was my first visit there and as a bonus I discovered a nice selection of sides and olives, plus sheets of fresh pasta. Which took care of my dinner needs as well as lunch.

I have visited Giacomos many times over the years. They have a great selection of Italian specialties. There is no place like it in the Greensboro area. They have the best sub sandwiches in town. They are a bit pricey, but the quality is worth it.

Love to purchase house made deli meats here. This comes as close to being in a Philadelphia deli as you are going to get in the south. Authentic. Even the people behind the counter are from the North. Great selection of sides - I've actually watched the guys making the roasted red peppers in their big ovens. Lots of low... More
