Enjoyed our meal

Upscale bar, both atmosphere and food. It wasn't spectacular but it was solid and satisfying! The kids meals included fruit - which always makes us happy to see healthy variations to the same old standard!

The food was great as usual, but it just wasn't the same. I ate Sunday brunch with a friend and it was so disappointing to see vinyl table cloths. What happened to the linen table cloths...the tables used to be set prior to being seated? I attended school in Greensboro and was in town for a few days with a... More

I took a small group of business associates to dinner at Liberty Oaks on the recommendation of a friend. It was very good and enjoyable. The menu was diverse enough to offer a choice for every palate and everyone seemed to thoroughly enjoy their particular selection. I had Tuna cooked to order and the taste was unique and perfectly prepared.... More

My daughter and I popped into Liberty Oak for a quick lunch and were quite UNDERwhelmed. The Turkcumber sandwich looked like something you'd find in a school lunchbox! Thin French bread slices with an insignificant amount of roasted turkey....for a $9.99 sandwich I expectedly something a bit more impressive. The pasta salad is always yummy ~~ but no garnishes, no... More

menu/food was excellent! Had the pulled pork, collard greens. Our only disappointment was our waitress, who acted like she would rather be anywhere then there....actually very few staff appeared like they really liked their jobs......but we will return. Best spinach and sweet potato cornbread!!

We had some time before our meeting, and a couple of our guys had eaten at this restaurant the last time they were in town, and recommended we try it again. I am glad that they did. I had the Smoking Granny.. Smoked Turkey, Granny Smith Apple slices, and Walnut Blue Cheese Spread. It was excellent. The staff was great,... More

This is one of those places you'll never see unless you're looking for it. We came in for lunch on a Saturday... they have a killer-looking brunch menu, but that's only served sundays. My wife got a gigantic salad, and I got a roast beef sandwich with fries. Really good food, but the service was (as others have noted) a... More

After being disappointed to find many old favorites (Bianca's, Macado's...) to be gone after 15 years away, it was delightful to see that Liberty Oak is still rocking. A classy locale for a business lunch or a happy hour meet-up. Although Liberty Oak's previous location (yes, 16 years ago) is still on our mind, the "new" location is larger and... More

Have been here multiple times for lunch. On most recent visit, I ordered the smoked chicken chowder-it was fantastic! I also got the side salad with homemade ranch which was equally good. The service, however was very lack-luster. Our guy was possibly new (or I hope so). He had this goofy expression on his face the whole time and he... More

The menu is quite extensive. There were 4 of us, and we all were very pleased with our meals. Our waiter was pleasant, helpful and attentive. The soup, sweet potato and ginger, was delightful. The portions are adequate. Don't skip dessert because it is a real treat. I had the chocolate pecan pie which was so delicious; however, it is... More
