The atmosphere here is typical pub setting. The patrons are usually from the neighborhood and all very interesting to chat with at the bar. The servers have been here for quite awhile and are always attentive and I love that my glass has never been empty in this establishment. The service is a real team effort as no one walks... More

From the outside you may not go in but the food is quite good. The peel and eat shrimp are the best in town, other seafood dishes are tasty and the vegetables fresh and good, especially the garlic spinach. A true pub offering a variety of beers on draft and a sizable selection by the bottle.

We went on Monday night and there were very few people there; yet the service was Inattentive at best and uncaring at worst. I hate to give two stars; but that was probably deserved based on the poor service. The food was also not as good as it was when we visited here a year ago. We shared four appetizers,... More

Tried other restaurants in the area and wanted to give it a try. I wished I had went somewhere else. Very disappointed.

One task when visiting your kid in college is to find special restaurants not far from the campus which don't drain your wallet like a tuition bill, but special enough to return. The intersection of Walker & Elma is home to Fishbone's which goes beyond the beer and burger spots which seem to be everywhere in Greensboro. After 2 visits... More

I'm come here often as it's close to my house and have yet to have a bad experience. Service is usually good, atmosphere is excellent, and food is always superb. If i'm stopping by for lunch I usually opt for the bologna sandwich. It may sound like something a 9 year old boy would order but it is incredibly good.... More

Our friends who lived nearby suggested that we dine at Fishbones. It was a pleasurable experience in a location that we had not previously visited. It is not a shopping center but a cluster of 4 or 5 businesses (primarily restaurants and a neighborhood grocery store) surrounded by upscale single family neighborhoods. I enjoyed a fish dish (salmon) with very... More

Love this place. Love their fish dishes, though they have a nice selection of other stuff. I love their organic side dishes: organic kale, garlic mashed potatoes, etc. The chairs are super uncomfortable but their have nice outdoor seating for lunch. We go almost every week. Good food.
