Plain atmosphere, terrific food

Took my wife and daughter here for lunch a week ago. Don't let the plain looking building / decor fool you; the food it really great. I had some of the best shrimp and grits I've ever had. This came with a side of Cajun spiced, grilled beans that were wonderful. Service could not have been... read more

Atmosphere is unrefined but the food totally surprises. Service is always excellent and servers are knowledgeable and pleasant. Not a big place, Usually a line.

The food was superb! Doesn't look like much from the outside, but we were thoroughly surprised by their menu. Love the local atmosphere. Great service and drinks. The salmon sandwich and drunken shrimp were both amazing. Highly recommend it.

I ordered the crab bisque which was WAY too salty. I ended up not being able to eat it all. The others in my group were more pleased with their choices. I would be open to trying it again but ordering something else. The beer selection was pretty great though.

Located in quaint neighborhood, but do not overlook Fishbones. We visited on. Monday night thinking we might avoid the crowd....Wrong! Thus place was jumping! And apparently it's because the food is worth the wait. The service is lacking, however. Slow, forgetful, but super friendly and down to earth. Not a dress up kinda place, but fun to visit for fresh... More

We love going to Fishbones for great tasting, reasonably priced food. The specials are always intriguing. A few weeks ago they had a Tom Yum soup as the soup of the day - delicious - the perfect balance of sweet and spicy and crunch from fresh vegetables. I love the tacos that are served on corn tortillas - they are... More

The weekly specials are always great and quite a value for under $14. Get there early or prepare to wait a while as seating is limited.
