Outstanding! The spices and aromas are amazing! The plates look like they won't be enough but about midway through the meal it's hard to imagine finishing it. Finish it, you will! The food is too good to not gorge yourself just this once.

We stopped by around 6 pm on a Saturday night and were concerned about the lack of cars in the lot. Nevertheless, we gave Taste of Ethiopia a try. Despite the dark surroundings, the interior is well lit, clean, and of an open design. Menu choices were more limited than similar restaurants we have visited in bigger cities but the... More

I love Ethiopian food and try it in every city that I visit. We got the combination plate that left me satisfied. Really glad we went for lunch here.

The ethnic food scene in good ole Greensboro just keeps getting bigger - and better. This authentic Ethiopian restaurant just opened last week, thus we join the Triangle area as a location housing restaurants offering this type of interesting cuisine. This is the 4th or 5th restaurant that we've eaten in at this particular location, all the way back to... More

My husband and I went here for my birthday. I got the combination platter that gave you a sample of everything . I literally got a tablespoon of each vegetable, one chicken leg, one boiled egg and maybe a couple to teaspoons of meat for 15.00. Half of the beef I could not eat because it was so tough. The... I would have to assume that Ethiopians are not used to plentiful portions as my entree was not nearly as plentiful as the menu item pictured. I ordered DORO WOT (Lemon chicken in red pepper sauce). The menu picture showed 3-4 chicken pieces with 2 boiled eggs in a nice red sauce. I got two scrawny legs and one egg.... More

My friend and I ate here for our first time Friday 2/28, and arrived a little after noon. The restaurant is in a quiet neighbor off of Market Street, and is only 5 minutes from our work. We were promptly greeted and shown our seats. I have eaten Ethiopian food many years ago and loved it....and was really looking forward to... More

I agree with all of the previous reviews. Food quality is great and plentiful. Glad we finally have an Ethiopian rest. in our area. We have been twice since they opened and the food has been really good both times.

No more going out of town for Ethiopian food! This hidden spot serves up excellent meals. The staff is friendly, and the food surprised me by being as good as my favorite Ethiopian place in Brooklyn. They have gluten free injeera, but call ahead to make sure I haven't eaten up their current supply. The vegetarian sampler is huge. My... More
