OK food, but surly cooks

Have been coming here for years and sitting at the kitchen bar, it has always been great entertainment watching the cooks and interacting with them, especially for all the years I came here alone. But tonight we were really looking forward to our twice annual visit for some tasty Italian cooking... read more

My husband and I go here often when we are in town. We sat at the kitchen area counter as we always do. The cooks were not friendly or welcoming, they wouldn't even make eye contact with us much less say "hi"! They seemed to really enjoy throwing and dropping pans that it was so loud we couldn't even talk... More

We recently stopped in for dinner after the women's basketball game at Greensboro Coliseum. Their sign says they are open until 10 but at 9:30 we didn't get a very welcoming reception. The host was clearly distracted wrapping up for the night and the service was very slow. We sat in the bar area so we could watch the games... More

We had a very nice meal and the restaurant was near the hotel which came in very handy as we have been driving all day and just wanted to relax. The house wine wasn't very nice and the service was just ok, but all in all we had a good experience.

We went on a busy Monday night and there were Monday specials, ranging from $12.99, $15.99 and $18.99 which included a choice of three appetizers or dessert, soup or salad and a main entree. We chose a chicken pasta dish from the $12.99 menu and a seafood pasta dish from the $15.99 and had leftovers. We thought it was an... More

Although this restaurant has some decent pastas, breads, and so on, the salads are overpriced and abysmal. Almost zero flavor, and the "seasonal" citrus vinaigrette salad had both large orange seeds and stray bacon pieces to pick out (and those oranges were called "supremes", really?!). Reluctantly mentioning the salad's missing and added ingredients got an offer for an extra box... More

I love spaghetti but not the way it is prepared at Carrabba's. Only three choices of dressing for salads and the spaghetti sauce had no flavor. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful and the kitchen was located where the customers could watch their food being prepared.

Just ate at Carrabbas on High point Rd and was served raw chicken. Would not have been too upset and accepted the mistake had the manger had any concern at all. When we told the waiter in was undercooked he went to get manager. He walked over to the table, said yes it was undercooked, asked if we wanted another... More

We ate here last evening (a Saturday) and we were disappointed. The good: We used their "call ahead" seating and we only had to wait 5 minutes for a table. Nice! We like their sangria. The not-so-good: I received the wrong salad and it took a while to replace. My dinner came out immediately after I received my salad. My... More
