Good food and awesome chili burger!

Haven't been to a J Butlers in years. My spouse used to work at one about 20 years ago. We asked for an item that was not on the menu anymore, "The Chili Burger". We told the waitress what we wanted and she ask the kitchen to make it for us. They were happy to do it. The chili burger... read more

The waitress said it would be a few minutes for our đrinks to arrive. The place was not vertu busy at all and we had to wait awhile for our food. There was 7 adults and 3 kids. The FOOD Came out in separate times with as long as 5 minutes between arrivals. Some people were halfway through their own... More

Here for breakfast (it is attached to the hotel) after a night at the Doubletree. The breakfast buffet was OK (honorable mention for the perfectly cooked scrambled eggs) but the rest of the items were clearly institutional food preparations or even instant (like the grits). Edible but hardly memorable. The price seemed a bit steep for the quality. Service was... More

Excellent food and great times! This great group stayed open during a winter storm when no other restaurants were open giving us the opportunity to have a great meal and unwind after a long ,stressful day of driving on icy roads!

The foo was average at best. The service was very slow. The clientele from the local area did not make outsiders feel particularly welcome. The décor and atmosphere was mediocre.. More of a local medium low class bar atmosphere. With the emphasis on bar. I wasw at their Archdale location, just south of High Point on Route 311.

Had a late dinner here while on a business trip. I have to recommend their grilled cheese with bacon with the tomato soup.

Our visit on October 31, 2015 was great. We stopped here before going to Kersey Valley to do the Spooky Woods for my Daughters 23rd Halloween Birthday. The food was fantastic and the service was great. Everyone was polite, helpful, and friendly. The food was really good and there was plenty of it. Mom had the French Dip and it... More

Given the emphasis on being a bar the menu was somewhat limited but what they had was good. Even at breakfast the lighting level was very low. The breakfast buffet was typical hotel quality, some choice but minimal.

Ate here twice while staying at the adjoining hotel. We really enjoyed the breakfast, especially the gravy, which is better than most restaurants serve. It was like homemade!!

The breakfast is decent. Buffet style or made to order. Dinner is decent, typical American food. They do have good drink specials and the bartenders are friendly.
