We visit J.Butlers in Winston-Salem frequently but had never tried the same restaurant in Greensboro until last week. Basically we were offered the same menu items & the same drinks but the atmosphere was totally different...not necessarily better but different & made our dinner quite enjoyable. The wait staff was good but due to a concert, was pretty busy. I'd... More

Stayed at Doubletree Sat night, came down to restaurant for breakfast about 9:30 found the buffet bar to be nearly empty. Seated ourselves, waitress asked me what I wanted to drink, ordered coffee with milk, never did get it. Went to the breakfast bar and got some of the few strawberries and melon, my son got a bowl of oatmeal.... More

This is the 2nd time we have come here in a year and each time JD was our server. He always makes it an awesome breakfast experience. Love the options from the breakfast buffet. Really anything you want for a descent price.

We ate late so could only get appetizers but we got chili and it was good. The restaurant itself could use a little spruce up but it was clean, comfortable and really great to have it right in the Doubletree Hotel as we were staying for the night.

We stayed at the attached Doubletree hotel so we chose to walk downstairs from our room to dinner. Our dinners were okay not great. My husband had a burger and fries. Burger was bland, the fries were very good. I ordered a large salad with steak. It was tasty. My beer was warm, yuck. Our waiter was very attentive so that was... More

The breakfast fare is the usual fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, pastry. The coffee is okay but not gourmet. The service was good and the buffet breakfast lacked great appeal since other hotels do not charge $11.95 per guest. The convenience appeared to be the reason most guests were eating the am meal here. The location is very nice and the... More

Stopped down at the J Butlers Bar & Grill last night. Bar has 10-15 bar stools available but on this night, they were full. Found an open table and was greeted immediately. After a cold beer (Sam Adams Summer Ale on Draft), and the Grilled Chicken Quesadillas, I left happy. Great menu and plenty of TV's to watch your favorite... More

I ate dinner here with three co-workers recently. We went for the 1/2 priced burgers. They were HUGE. The side of vegetables that I ordered as cooked perfectly and not loaded with grease as is often the case with many restaurants. The service was friendly and very kind in addressing the fact that our ticket was lost in the kitchen... More

J Butler's has been a fixture in Archdale, NC for many years. Although it's a bar/restaurant, it had catered to families. The food was pretty darn good and the staff was friendly and quick. Unfortunately, very few things remain the same and J Butler's ain't what she used to be. The wait staff has become the WAIT staff. It seams... More

I ate at this restaurant because friends that travel to Greensboro often eat here quite frequently and recommended it so I decided to try it. The food is nothing to talk about and the mixed drinks are horrible but the service for dinner was more disappointing than anything else. I actually ended up going somewhere else. The following day we... More
