Dining at its finest! Being greeted by the owners shows first class professionalism. The husband and wife combination brings together strong management as Chef Sal controls the kitchen while Ms. Debbie oversees the dining area and greets everyone with a warm smile. Wonderful food with a peaceful atmosphere makes the visit a pleasure wish I could give them six (6)... More

Just let me say I was born and raised in the south, BUT...I had the privledge of being friends with an italian american family in my early 20's and came to appreciate "real" italian quality food. My wife (who was born and raised in PA) and I have been eating at Salvinos for more than 10 years. We order a... More

My family and I try to eat here once every month or so and is definitely my favorite italian restaurant in Greensboro. Every dish we have is fantastic and their version of the tiramisu is superb. I would go more often, but my waistline couldn't handle it and it can get a bit pricy, for Greensboro. I'm actually not sure... More

We arrived for 6pm dinner. Not too busy but room filled up quickly. A finer dining establishment, my friend and I were a bit underdressed. Order was taken promptly and my food was enjoyable (fried oyster appetizer, house salad and main dish wild mushroom ravioli) but it did take awhile for main dish to arrive. Our wait for the check... The Food is wonderful. The Chef has really interesting takes on the classics, as well as new dishes. The serves is attentive and they accommodated our young diners very nicely. Great place!

Salvino's is a rustic, casual, fine dining experience not to be out done in this area. The food is addictive! My favorite dish is Cuscinetto di Vitello, which is veal stuffed with fontina and mozzarella cheese, prosciutto, and spinach; finished in a demi glaze sauce and served over angel hair pasta. If you're looking to get an appetizer for the... More

We went here with friend and two kids in Dec. We were seated promptly. Wait took our drink order and drinks arrived promptly. (I was hoping for the wine glass to be a bit fuller at $9 a glass) It was a slow paced meal so be aware of that before you go. Everything is made to order and the... More

Nice atmosphere, good food and service. Nice varied menu from classic Italian to some lesser known entrees. A bit pricey for the area but it is worth it. Nice place to celebrate an occasion.

The best Italian food in NC! They treat you like family, and you can't go wrong with the food. It is truly authentic.

I was super excited to try Salvinos. The bread was awesome but the good experience ended there. I ordered the a Pesca Al Soave which today was Halibut. It came with some spinach and a side of angel hair pasta and marinara sauce. Nothing Special! A very shocking thing happened when the bill came. My Halibut "special" was on the... More
