Nice little place; fine service too!

My wife and I had a wonderful time at our dinner. Observing others in the restaurant; they were too. I believe we used a coupon from our "Attractions" book. We listened to the specials offered for the night, but chose to order off of the regular menu. There are lots of choices, but if you need... read more

My wife and i ordered dinner here with no high expectations being that it was in a strip mall but we both wanted Italian. I ordered the veal Marsala with a side of spaghetti with a rose sauce cause i never like the house marinara sauce and my wife ordered gnocchi's with the house marinara sauce. Mine was very good... We were out for dinner this past weekend during the ACC tournament and were desperate to find a restaurant with a wait of less than 2 hours. I called ahead to Positano and they had us seated within 30 minutes. The waiter was awesome and the food simply delicious. Positano was as busy as I can recall and they made... More

The worst pizza I have had in a long time. Comparable to CiCi's. I at least get my money's worth at CiCi's. Very bland... I could have made a better pie at home and next time I will. Very disappointed

We recently took our two grandchildren out to dinner at Positano and had a lovely meal. The pasta and meatballs were excellent, as was the pizza for the kids. My wife had the Veal Marsala and I had the pasta Carbonara. Both were quite good. Also the garlic breadsticks were great. The service was also excellent. We plan to visit... More

I think I would have enjoyed this more if it had been less expensive. I did not think it was any better than Carrabas or Macaroni Grill, yet it was just as expensive. The menu was very difficult to read. The font was extremely small. The antipasto salad was very boring. It had entirely too much lettuce and not enough... More

Been going here for a while... very comforting place. The Stromboli is unforgettable. The prices are a little high for what you'd expect at a place located in a strip mall, but the service and food are entirely worth it. No student waiters... service is significantly better than what you would find at a chain establishment, and the food is... More

Came here to celebrate a family birthday while in town for another function. Wanted something that was not a chain and had atmosphere to it. This was highly rated so we gave it a try. It is located in a strip mall, but once you enter, the Italian atmosphere is immediate. Service was exceptional, as was the food. Very nice... More

Another one of the solid, if not spectactular, Greensboro restaurants we'd not visited in a while, so headed there today for lunch, and after the lunch, we still fill the same - generally solid, consistent food, with the exception of the Rotisserie Chicken which is way above that, it is excellent. The restaurant is rather small, a little dark, a... More

Was looking for relatively inexpensive Italian food close to the Greensboro Science Center and came across Positano's. Upon arrival, we immediately noticed that the restaurant had a very home-y atmosphere and it felt like an actual Italian cucina. Our server was fantastic, always stopped by whenever we needed anything, gave us some background on food and drinks, and was willing... More
