Although I've eaten here about 20 times, I always get the double gyro or double gyro platter, so I can't comment on other meals--but the gyro, salad, and fries are incredible. The food is consistently fresh and perfectly prepared. The service is pleasant and efficient, and the prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes. Gyros are one of my... More

When I've had less than a stellar experience at a restaurant, especially a locally own one that others seem to like, I'll try again, hoping for a better result -- yeah, I know, insanity. Recently, it was this little place near the UNCG campus - you gotta try, things may change - or not! Baba Ghanouj Plate ($3.99) with pita... More

This local family owned business is friendly and has good service and welcoming atmosphere. The food is the best Greek I've ever tasted.

Jack's has awesome falafel and spanakopita. The food is very authentic (minus the Americanized opinion such as burgers) and way better than Ghassan's. Their platters are large and affordable, I recommend this place to any uncg student or anyone in the area.

Have eaten here several times, usually en route to the Greensboro Coliseum for a show. It can be quite busy, especially is schools are in, UNCG, etc. The menu is simply yet well done, and the service is quick, polite, and know their foods. Oh, did I mention the pricing is very reasonable. Give them a shot, you won't regret... More

I went for the $2 gyro night thinking that if it's not good at least I didn't waste my money. I was very surprised at how good the gyro was! Definitely worth more than $2. The meat was tender and the pita bread was very warm and soft. The cucumber sauce is a little bit thinner than what I am... More

Jack and his family have run this former gas station location for years. You have to look hard to realize what this building used to be. The food is a wide selection of Mediterranean delights, and a good Philly-Steak too; always good, and served quickly. Their main clientele maybe UNC-G students but loads of folks will drive across town for... More

This is a great little shop. Its been around for a while. The building is not new, but the food is always great. Its not easy to find good falafel so if you are a fan...here is your spot. Its always fast and friendly. Parking can be tough at peak times but its worth it. You cant get food like... More

I personally know the family whom owns this local restaurant, regardless the food is great! I have tried nearly everything on the menu and never been disappointed. They have a great selection of traditional desserts as well such as baklava and other middle-eastern delicacies. The Mediterranean Platter is one of my favorites, a vegetarian option; though I’m not a vegetarian... More

During a recent workshop at a nearby university, I had the opportunity to eat at Jack's for lunch. When you go in, you order at the counter, then wait for your order to come out. I ordered a falafel wrap combo, which included fries and a drink. The order came quickly and then we were able to go sit outside.... More
