The Filling Station is by far my favorite place in Greensboro. I have never had anything bad. The brunch is delicious, wraps and sandwiches are all great as well. Their tuna salad is one of the best I have ever had. I am always looking at their specials because they are unique and always done perfectly. To top off the... More

Popped in for a quick bite and discovered a change to the menu. A few things removed, a few things added. They still have soup of the day (the beef stew is what a beef stew should be) and my favorite sandwiches appear to have made the cut. I had a new one, the West Market burger. It was a... More

My son and I had dinner last night, he had the roast beef on a bagget...he changes it a bit, but carmalized onions, light flavored mayo...provalone and he added lettuce. He loved it! Had their great frys...boom...he was a happy 14yo! I had a black and blue burger medium well (perfectly cooked with just a smidgen of pink), had a... More

2nd time dining here, and the food has been fine, there just isn't ANY room there. A small restaurant, with equally small tables. Maybe what he real problem is, that there is a napkin dispenser on the table, along with salt/pepper and a small tray for sugar/sweetner. Well, when you are sitting on a two top bar table, with all... More

Now established for several years LPFS has an extensive selection of salads, sandwiches- named for neighborhood streets, and burgers. Their soups have been a favorite of mine over the years; a daily change-up of interesting and tried and true. You can find their menu online and know what you want before you arrive. On the appetizer list I really like... More

We had a quick lunch as we were heading to Charlotte. The food was delicious and the service very attentive.

I have loved coming for lunch and Sunday brunch LPFS for a couple years. They have a very unique menu, full of yummy sandwiches and salads. I normally always get the Brice Street if I go for lunch and for brunch I get the eggs benedict with bacon. A friend and I went yesterday for brunch and service was slack... More

Well where to start? My husband and I used to be regulars, like at least 3-5 times a month for lunch however after rude service we had slacked off going. Today I called to place a to go order and was greeted with the rudest service to date. So bad I actually called back and cancelled my order and speak... More

Another one of those local, neighborhood gems we'd neglected for a while - so this became our lunch spot today. This is very small, cool, kinda funky place in the Walker Avenue neighborhood where I spent my early teenage years. A lot of the salad and sandwich choices are named for streets in a 2 or 3 block radius. This... More
