We ate here a couple times during our trip because of its proximity to our hotel. It's your basic Tex-Mex restaurant, and it seemed to stay very busy. We were happy with our food, including the kid's meal for our toddler.

When chips and salsa is the best thing you eat all night then there is something wrong. The margarita was light on the tequila and my fish tacos left a lot to be desired...like flavor. I asked for something hotter than the usual salsa, I received a bottle of chahula, argh!! On the upside my wait staff was very nice... More

The place needs a complete renovation including the bathrooms stalls that are eaten away from urine. The outside shows sign of aging and chipped paint. The drinking water filter needs sanitizing due to mold in the tubing. I'm not sure how the place still remains in business. I'm disappointed with the food preparation and services. Guess they management just going... More

For a long time, I had been a big Chevys fan, but when times got lean, the one near our home closed. Traveling through Greenbelt, we saw this Chevys and stopped in. It was disappointing on several levels. The host was grouchy and non-welcoming. The server was a little more friendly, but made lots of mistakes, and didnt know much... More

This place bills itself as fun, fun, fun, but the staff people made it anything but. The whole dinner felt like a chore we just wanted to get through. The waitress made us feel like we were bothering her by just showing up. Food was fine, but portions were skimpy. (Tiniest bowl of chips for a table of four, and... More

We moved here late last year from San Antonio and have eaten here several times. The food is consistently good. I have tried several things on the menu and my favorite is the pork tamales. It's not San Antonio Tex-Mex but will take care of your cravings.

You have to try the guacamole: made to order, table side, you can control the spices. Fresh, delicious, chunky....Tortillas are also made on the spot. Portions are generous and everything suggests freshness and home-cooking. The restaurant decor reminds of a shack by the beach, you instantly switch to a vacation mood. Best mex restaurant in DC area!

I was shopping in the area and I visited Chevys without planning. The food was great, the service too; I will definitely visit again!

This is my favorite restaurant in Maryland. The food is great. The Service is awesome, and the top shelf drinks.

I love Mexican food, there is no doubt about it. I have eaten it everywhere. This is going to go to the top 5 of my list. Service was a bit slow but that's what happens when servers have facebook on their phones... The food however, was fantastic. I went for a business lunch and it was my first time... More
