We have been going to the Donut Friar for years now. It has become a tradition to stop at the Donut Friar at least once during each vacation & on the way out of town to get goodies to go! The cinnamon twists are the best I have EVER had. Nothing else even compares to them. We also had the... More

We always visit the Donut Friar when in town, sometimes multiple times in a day as the selection changes from early morning to the afternoon, but its always fresh and good.

Great place to get breakfast in Gatlinburg. open early and reasonably priced compared to the big breakfast places where its going to cost you $8+ to eat.

We never miss the Donut Friar when we are in this part of TN. If you love sweet treats this is the place to go. It is best to get there first thing in the morning when there is a large selection and everything is still at its most fresh. You won’t be disappointed with a midafternoon snack either.

These are the best donuts I have ever had. They all looked so good we couldn't decide. We finally picked and couldn't believe how fresh they were. We saved some for the next day and they were still just as fresh. I will be back for more. I wish we had one of these in our area.

While everyone else is hitting all the little shops, I like to slip in here and have a Homemade style Donut. Yes it causes me problems with the wife, but I'm on Vacation. LOL Try one of their Hot Drinks as well.

The glazed cake donuts were very good and we would go back. The service there is some to be desired but we went into based on other reviews that the staff wasn't known for being very friendly so our expectations were not high. We loved the village shops so if you decide to stop you shouldn't miss out on treating... More

These tasty treats are good. But, they are donuts, so why wouldn't the be good. Based on the reviews we made a special stop just for the donuts. I don't know that they were that exceptional. Cash only! (But I do like that they give you a $2.00 drink to make up for the ATM fee)

While the doughnuts did taste good and have very reasonable prices, we were disappointed with their selection. After hearing so much about this place, I really hoped they would have a wide offering instead of just 5 basic doughnut options.

We always make a stop at the Donut Friar when in town. They're the best cake doughnuts around & at a good price. They also offer plenty of other sweet pastries so everyone can find something they enjoy!
