This place only accepts cash. I have visited this restaurant on every trip to Gatlinburg. A family favorite. My family has been going for decades. It hasn't changed. Quality is good. Portions huge (5 pancakes per order). Sweet potato pancakes are recommended. Enjoy the special syrup that comes with them. Any are good. Can't go wrong. A great way to... More

The atmosphere is relaxing! The service was wonderful and the food was good! We go everytime we visit Gatlinburg which is about every 4 years.

I didn't think it lived up to the hype. It was too expensive, the pancakes I had were just OK. I was very disappointed that the syrup was so watery I was hoping for some thick warm syrup. Will not go back.

My husband and I along with 3 other couples were staying in the Pigeon Forge area for Rod Run, and 1 of the couples said we had to go to this place because they had amazing pancakes. Well my husband and I are not much on pancakes but thought we'd go anyways and find something on the menu. We went... More

First of all be ready for cash only. There will most likely be a wait but they do get people in and out quickly without feeling rushed. Come hungry as portion sizes are big. Recommend French toast with cinnamon syrup or any of fruit crepes.

This is a well-known tourist attraction on Gatlinburg. Pancake choices abound, although many are actually crepes that would be better desserts. Service was good, but they want you in and out. They only take cash, but have an ATM in the restaurant. Only restroom is upstairs which is an issue for individuals who cannot climb stairs like me. Probably won't... More

One person in our group had breakfast and the other two had lunch. All of our meals were delicious! I had one of the specialty sandwiches which was unique and came with homemade potato chips and bean salad. Everything was wonderful. The prices seem at bit high, maybe 10-15% more than they should be, but I guess your also paying... More

First trip to Gatlinburg and had read about the Pancake Pantry. We thought it would be amazing. The pancakes were good but the prices were way over priced. $10.50 for pancakes? And non-pancake eaters have limited options. $9 for two eggs and a sausage patty that comes with three pancakes. If you want toast add $2.50. Most breakfast places that... More

We had excellent pancakes here. We went in February on the off season and still the line was out the door. Expect a wait but it is worth it. The pancakes are soooo good.

We always eat breakfast at the Pancake Pantry when we are in Gatlinburg. The wildberry crepes are my favorite but have actually not had anything I disliked. Service is great, food is fantastic!
