We were completely overwhelmed by the variety of pancakes that are on the menu. 5 large pancakes is more than enough for a serving IMO. Great prices. My hubby had the Swiss chocolate chip pancakes. He loved them. I had the sweet potato pancakes.... O. M. G. They were moist & flavorful. The cinnamon creme syrup that was served with... More

Suggested by my cousin, my husband and I came here my first time to Gatlinburg. We waited around 20 minutes, but it was during the Christmas season. Well worth the wait, and the food was delicious! When I ordered, I got what I thought would be a small serving of pancakes. I couldn't even eat half of my order. Friendly... More

My family was really looking forward to going here because from the outside it looked pretty nice. The restaurant is way overcrowded with tables, CASH only, which is crazy in this day and age. We all ordered different items. Two ordered the omelets and they were the smallest, most unappetizing food items we have ever seen. They were in the... More

Well first of all, Thank You Steve (Ripley's Aquarium Worker) for suggesting this, most wonderful, family owned, since forever, establishment. The Sweet Kraut Salad, is to die for. It came with the, Viennese Burger, I ordered. Yes, it's NOT, only a Pancake Making Restaurant. The owner, will be there Greeting and Meeting, along with setting your place, at the table.... More

When I visited Pancake Pantry in Gatlinburg, TN I went with a group of nine people (including two kids) during peak tourist season on Friday morning. Although the line to get in and get seated was out the door, the wait was only 20 minutes long. The restaurant was packed with people, but service was quick and friendly. The only... More

They've been the best for as long as I can remember (nearly 40 years of traveling to Gatlinburg now), and it's every bit as good as I remember it. You know it's a popular place when the line is 30-40 people deep out the front door by late morning. I always get up and get there early to avoid the... More

Wonderful food. Best crapes ever! Homemade whipped cream, need I say more! However very cramped and they only take cash! Not the best coffee either.

Our family has been going to the Pancake Pantry since the stone ages. My grandparents were around when it first opened and, as with everyone else, it's become a family tradition to just go. Unfortunately after this time, it may be our last. We all know the long line to get in is never really that much of an issue.... More

I have eaten here every time we visit for the last 20 years and the food is always delicious! I get some sort of crepe and always like it. We ate there 2 times this trip and I had the Georgia Peach Crepes and the Parisienne (strawberry) which by far were the best! I do feel that it is a... More

We happened to eat later in the afternoon so we didn't experience any wait for a party of 11. We all ordered and really enjoyed our meals. Some had breakfast and others lunch items. The waitresses did an excellent job. If we make it back to town it will be a stop on our list.
