We went there 3x for breakfast because they had great food and service. Cheryl, our waitress, was nice and made wonderful conversation as well as food recommendations. The Caribbean pancakes were heavenly and the Pancake Royale sauce was fantastic. My wife and daughter were also very happy with the food options they chose. Cheryl made it fun and personable each... I can still remember as a 14 year old in 2006 coming to Gatlinburg for the first time with my friend's family who has been vacationing there for decades. They took me here and all ordered the "French Toast Royale" and recommended it for me too since they had the tradition of eating it every time they visited the town.... More

Good food. Relatively inexpensive and fast. It's a breakfast must for at least one morning of your trip.

My husband and I had a fabulous breakfast there on Saturday morning this weekend. I had the carribean pancakes...omg sooo good! Hubby had an omelet and it looked pretty yummy too. The staff were friendly and welcoming. It was a fun place to eat! I highly recommend it.

Don't be fooled by all the mass produced pancakes in the area... *cough*Flapjacks*cough* These are the real deal! Great, friendly service and all the food is amazing, even the non-pancake items! Highly recommended are the Wild Blueberry Pancakes (though skip the blueberry compote and use regular syrup), Peach Crepes, or the 2-pancake breakfast. There are 3 really great pancake places... In the context of some of the really terrible places to eat in Gatlinburg, the Pancake House offers decent coffee, good eggs, good pancakes and a good place to fuel up prior to a trek into the mountains.

I definitly recommend the country ham, a good old slice of tasty country ham, served with two eggs and 3 delicious pancakes. Just get as well the royale sauce french toasts. This is no diet here. This is pure love and you feel it also in the excellent service. Don't miss this breakfast if you go to gatlinburg.

I ate here in September 2012 on a hiking trip to the Smokies. It's 2014 and I still can't get over the french toast we had here. It was called the French Toast Royale and that magical sauce they put over your french toast really was nothing short of magical. I've tried to recreate it in my kitchen, and have... More

Great menu, lots of choices and my 8 year old loved it. They had a lot of stuffed animals around which drove my child crazy and she had to have one before we left which was a bit annoying. I wish they would keep the toys in the front with the other souvenirs. Otherwise, a great place. We've eaten there... More
