Very nice place & some of the best dinner food I've ever eaten. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for.

We went to the Buckhorn Inn for our anniversary dinner. You need to make reservations ahead and they only have one seating for a prix fixe menu with only one choice per evening. You can look at the daily menus on their website. Since they only have one menu per evening (at 7PM) , if you don't like what they're... More

Met here for dinner with friends. Inn is well off the main strip in Gatlinburg, and in a very pleasing setting. I believe our meal was $35 per person, which is very reasonable given the amount of food provided. Bread, a soup, salad--which was fairly simple, main entree, and desert. Our entree was a large pork chop and was delicious.... More

First of all, this inn advertises as a wedding venue. I had searched high and low for a close-by, historical, fine dining establishment for the reception following my daughter's 4 o'clock wedding ceremony at Cades Cove Methodist Chuch. So I decided Buckhorn was my only option. Up-front and during booking, I heeded the STRICT requirement that the wedding party be... More

Based upon reviews from other contributors, we were expecting an awesome dinner. The soup was good, the salad very good (dressing tasty), but the main course was a total disappointment. The chicken was dry and atop a bed of rice. The broccoli casserole was mushy and not bright green; our conclusion was that it was made from frozen broccoli. The... More

For the Gatlinburg area, you won't find a classier, gourmet restaurant than the Buckhorn Inn. We stay at the Inn and we always enjoy our dinners here and usually invite one of our friends in the area as she is very picky and this is one of the few restaurants whe will eat in the area. Food is always freshly... More

The setting is wonderful -- the very epitome of an old-style country inn. Please note that the restaurant only has one seating per night, at 7 PM. The meal is a four course dinner with a set menu. It is popular with both people who are staying at the inn and others, so reservations are necessary. We thought the food... More

My husband and I love Gatlinburg and have go there for my birthday weekend every year. We always try to find one new place to discover with good food. After reading reviews we decided to get a reservation (reservations are a must) and are so glad we did. This was hands down the best dinner experience in the area. We... More
