the service, atmosphere, and food quality was unparalleled, but I wouldn't necessarily advise going hungry. expect upper scale restaurant portions.

We ate at the Buckhorn Inn for dinner one evening during our stay in Gatlinburg. You do not need to be a guest at the inn to dine in the restaurant. Be aware that you must have reservations, though. The menu is prefixed, meaning that everyone has the same meal. I was disappointed to learn that the menu that was... More

We picked this based on review on TripAdvisor. You need to go online and look at the menu because you do not get to pick what you want to eat, you get what they serve that night. They will make accommodations for special diets if they know ahead of time. They made me a vegetarian meal. You also must make... More

This restaurant (and Inn) is a must try for the discriminating tourist or local. Coat and tie I believe. Fixed menu. Reservations required. Easily best dining in Gatlinburg. 5 star ambience too.

We were told about the Buckhorn Inn while at lunch just down the road. We are so glad we tried it out. It is a set menu served at 7. The price is $35 for a four course meal (includes tea and coffee alcohol is extra but also reasonable). They have their menus posted on their website for the week... More

Stayed here for 2 nights (see separate review) so it was the obvious choice to also dine here as the alternative would be to drive in to Gatlinburg - an experience we wanted to avoid! The dining room is very pleasant with a big log fire adding a nice touch to the ambience. Everything works on a fixed agenda: time... More

This is one of the finer places to eat in Gatlinburg away from the hordes of tourists. Reservations are a must because this B&B is almost always filled. A fixed dinner menu is served. We paid $35.00/person which is quite reasonable. The dinner served the night we were there was pork loin with a sweet cabbage side and a rice/broccoli/cheese... More

The Buckhorn Inn was a wonderful surprise in the midst of Gatlinburg. Beautiful setting in the hills - with a warm and inviting interior. The dinner, which is prefixed, was delicious and not overly expensive. We brought our own wine - and enjoyed the evening. The service was also excellent - each of the wait staff was just as warm... We are spending five nights at the Buckhorn Inn as we have many times before. We had dinner there tonight and as usual everything was wonderful. The food was very tasty and the bread was Heavenly. This is a place we have been coming for years first for dinner and then as guests. We always feel at home. This is... More

I visited based off of alot of reviews here on trip advisor. I should have listened to the "bad" reviews as they more accurately portray my expereince. We had reservations for dinner for our 20th wedding anniversary. We arrived early and got to sit outside and have wine or a very good spiced tea.The view of the mountains was nice.... More
