Our favorite restaurant in Gatlinburg!!

The food is ALL delicious and the staff is efficient and helpful. This year one family member was in a wheelchair. The facilities are a little tricky for that, but they have them. We were disappointed in the lack of help over the phone when we called early in the day to see about seating our group... read more

The steak was good and the service was good. The portions of food was huge. The salad was a dinner in it self.

Fantastic food and service. We had the oysters for an appetizer and I could have eaten more. The steak was cooked to perfection (medium rare). I will go back every time I go to Gatlinburg.

Frequent traveler to Gatlinburg, and we always stop at The Alamo. Had some new visitors with us, and they were blown away. Lunch menu is the best; reasonably priced with A TON of food (meal plus two sides; sub there AMAZING salad for $2.50). Steaks are great, chicken breast meals are awesome as well. Kids had salmon and loved it,... More

This was my family's first visit to the Alamo. The food was so good, filling, and at a fairly reasonable price. The ribeye was one of the best steaks I have ever had! Juicy and tender all the way! Loved the bread and butter and the salads were huge. Great service as well! We will definitely recommend this restaurant to... More

We had a late lunch here. I had prime rib which was really tough. My lunch partner had a filet which was wonderful. The salads that came with the meal were large and very good. The wine was not the greatest.

While I am thrilled to read your friend's filet was delicious and you loved the salads, I want to apologize for the tough prime rib. Certainly prime rib, cooked for many hours, should never be tough. I can't explain what happened, but hope you will come back and give our prime rib another shot. It is normally delicious and tender. More

The big filet medium rare was cooked to perfection and the house salad was seriously great (they really load it up and kind of compartmentalize the diced tomatoes, bacon etc. this is one of the best steakhouses I have been to and I live about .5 miles from Malone's in Lexington, KY, which is rated top 10 in the country!

I was very impressed because I am not a steak eater but enjoy seafood. Most steakhouses don't cook seafood well but I was very impressed, ordered fried shrimp and it was fastastic. The rest of my family ordered steak and they loved their steaks. We only had to wait about 10 mins. to be seated.
