A very small restarant on the top floor, has about six small tables that seat about four people each. My wife said it was typical of the places she ate while in europe. We stopped in here for lunch while we were shopping in the Village in Gatlinburg. I remember reading some reviews on here that said the food was good so we thought we'd try it. We both ordered the "super ruben". It was very good. We also got the draft beer which was good as well. Our lunch was around $11/person... more

We discovered the Hofbrauhaus on our honeymoon in 1992 and we make sure to have lunch there on every visit to Gatlinburg since. Yes, the owner is the waitress and cook, and the clerk for the store downstairs, but she (or her husband) is attentive and even if you have to wait a bit ... it is worth it. My... more

After all the hype about having the "best reuben in the world" I was worried I would be disappointed when I finally ate here. Happy to report that it was delicious. We have been vacationing in Gatlinburg for many years, and just discovered this jewel a few years ago. Old but quaint decor, only seats about 20 people, owner is waitress, cook and cashier, But the Reubens are delightful! more

Come here and get the best lunch in the village and probably in Gatlinburg. It has a small menu but it is well worth it. It has the best Bratwurst and Reuben Sandwiches EVER! Will definently come back. more

We have been to Gatlinburg many times but this summer is the first time we have eaten in this fine place. It is very small and quaint and the menu is very limited especially for children. The Hofbrauhaus is our top choice for lunch in Gatlinburg. Though the menu is limited, the Reuben sandwiches are wonderful and the list of imported beers is extensive. It's conveniently located in The Village and has an old-world German atmosphere. A great place to cool off and relax in the midst of a day of shopping. more
