Howdy...visited The Wild Plum a couple of years ago, but went back during the middle of August with my best friend. It was STILL wonderful. It is quaint, very unique recipes, and fantastic desserts. I will go again!

The Wild Plum is on the craft loop just outside of Gatlinburg and the loop itself is a great day out away from the glitz of the tourist traps that abound in the area.. We asked several of the craft stores where we might get a good lunch and the Wild Plumb was the most popular recommendation by far. With... More

Wow! Everything from their Wild plum tea to their plum muffins is delicious! I even bought their cookbook and have used the recipes many times. We are locals but still visit this Tea Room frequently! WE LOVE IT!!

On our first day in town, we shopped along the arts & crafts loop and I asked each shop clerk, where we should have lunch. This was one of the most mentioned places to eat and we loved our experience here. Our group of 4 had lobster pie & chicken salad with an assortment of unusual sides. Their version of... More

I heard and read about this tea room in my vacation studies for this trip. And this trip, finally got the time to pursue it. It was a true surprise, from the outside it is kind of hidden in the back by the trees, so we almost missed it. I also had to talk my husband into a "tea room",... More

While on vacation in the Gatlinburg area, we had lunch at the Wild Plum. We have eaten here several times in the past. The staff is friendly and the service is good. My wife and I both had their hot tea, and it was tasty, and the waitress refilled our cups several times. The tea came with a cinnamon stick... More

Chose to try the Wild Plum Tea Room based on the reviews. Our lunch was very good. The service was really great. The table was a bit small for 2 of us and the "greens' that was recommended for my salmon burger (vs a starch) was underwhelming. Brown edges and limp, but the burger itself was outstanding. The corn bisque,... More

My friend and were impressed by the menu selections offered at the Wild Plum Tea Room. We both ordered the strata with squash, dried tomatoes, and cheese. I had the tomato dill soup and loved it. We shared the peach schnapps dessert which was heavenly. The wild plum tea was delicious. I chose the hot tea and my friend had... More

I had a Quinoa dish that was absolutley fabulous. My waiter Tim couldn't have been more helpful and made my visit super enjoyable. Try the Wild Plum tea, it's great.

Well we went here being because it was the #1 restaurant per tripadvisor and not quite sure why.. Yes the tea is good and they're muffin are good too but the food lacked taste altogether and didn't quite give you a wow factor. The salads are different but they also are severely lacking in the taste dept. We tried a... More
