Overall, I was quite underwhelmed by the restaurant quality in Gatlinburg. Just on the outskirts of town, the Wild Plum Tea Room was a positive exception. There were four of us. I was concerned that the guys might think some place named "tea room" might be light on quantity or protein. The setting is nice. There are lots of trees,... More

We come to Gatlinburg twice a year and plan all of our hikes around eating at this place . the chicken salad is amazing and my husband gets the lobster pie. We also share a cheese and fruit plate. The soups are amazing and the salads are fantastic! They are more than salads. my hubby got the pasta Bleu cheese... More

This was a great place--very relaxing. The food was wonderful. Had the lobster pie which had huge pieces of lobster in it. The fruit and cheese platter was wonderful. My sister had the salmon burger and loved it. The portions are huge. We had the apple cake with cinnamon ice cream and the blackberry cobbler--they were heavenly! Our waiter was... More

We visited the Wild Plum Tea Room for lunch, two days in a row. The food, service and atmosphere were excellent. It is a must, on your Gatlinburg art and craft loop visit. Tim (manager) and staff made us feel welcomed and were very accommodating. Do yourself a favor and eat there for lunch. The tuna special is amazing, along... More

We were staying for a couple of days in Gatlinberg and took a drive through the very attractive arts and crafts district, which is actually several miles out of Gatlinberg, well away from its tacky downtown. There didn't seem to be many options for lunch in this district but my wife had cunningly consulted TA before set off and directed... More

I paid another visit to the Wild Plum Tea Room and found that they had added delicious new items to a menu that was already excellent. This place is a real treasure with a relaxing atmosphere, wonderful food and expert service.

Tried this after reading reviews. Did not lead us astray. Cozy little building in the country outside Gatlinburg. Chose to eat on the deck and that added to the ambiance. Our meal was started off with some very small but tasty half portions of muffins. While very enjoyable, I have to admit they did not pass my quantity test. Management... More

We make this restaurant a priority when we visit Gatlinburg. The food is always amazing! I could cheerfully have lunch there several times a week and never tire of their delicious renditions. They are open from 11 to 3 and are always busy but if you must wait for a few minutes you will never regret the wait. The food... More

Howdy...visited The Wild Plum a couple of years ago, but went back during the middle of August with my best friend. It was STILL wonderful. It is quaint, very unique recipes, and fantastic desserts. I will go again!
