Had the pleasure of dining at the Cherokee Gril last evening. After spending the day hiking around the Smokeys you work up a healthy appetite. But we were not interested in dining on traditional Gatlinburg food. We were looking for something a slight bit up on the health/taste-o-meter. The Cherokee Grill fit the bill. Nise variety of menu offerings for... More

I recently ate at the Cherokee Grill and was quite pleased with both the food and the service. I was seated promptly, drink order taken, and menu provided. I selected the fresh herb crusted trout with herbed rice, and was not disappointed. The fish was perfectly cooked, and the coating was delicious. Definitely a place to return again.

We had one of the best meals we have ever had here. Pleasantly surprised but sad it was our last night in Gatlinburg. Ray was our server and had excellent recommendations. Service also was excellent!

I didn't expect to find good food in the midst of so many tourist-trap restaurants, but the Cherokee Grill is legitimately excellent. The roasted salmon on a bed of wild rice was excellent, and the crab cakes were shockingly good -- all jumbo lump crab, no filler. Seriously, who expects to find perfect crab cakes in the mountains of Tennessee?... More

We found this restaurant on trip advisor and decided to try it although there had been some not so good reviews posted. We walked in around 5:00 and were immediately seated. Our waitress came right over and greeted us. We ordered our food and didn't have to wait long at all for the food. There was plenty of food for... More

We were looking for somewhere to eat on our last day in Gatlinburg and were glad we chose this place close to our condo. Service was great, food was very good, and the waitress was very accommodating with our kids - brought extra cherries for the kids, changed a drink order, etc. We would go back if in town again.

We had dinner at the Cherokee Grill our first night in town and it spoiled us for the rest of our time in Gatlinburg. The server was very attentive, the drinks were excellent, and the prime rib was melt in your mouth delicious. We tried other restaurants in town but none were as good as the Cherokee.

First I will say the food was excellent. We come to TN 3 to 4 times a year. Friendliest people I have ever met except for here. Poor representatives of this great state. Can't figure out if barmaid was too busy or didn't care. She never checked on us after our meal was delivered and the next time we saw... More

The place is good. But the services we had their is terrible, horrible. We went around 5 pm. But the food delivered almost an hour. It was so upset.

We had a large group - 8 adults, 13 kids (age 5-16) - and everyone enjoyed their meals. It was reasonably priced and the service was great. (Wish I could remember our server's name, as we asked for separate checks at the end and she met our request with a smile.) Nice atmosphere, too!
