Get a few sacks of groceries before you get there. Groceries are expensive and hard to find. The traffic is too much for grocery shopping

My wife and I visited Old Dad's after reading reviews here on Trip Advisor. After a look around the store we ordered food. By the time we ordered food, we realized the seating was limited to 4 tables, all of which were taken, so we got our food and ate outside on the bench. The food was good and ready... More

Everything you could possibly need for a short stay. Good sandwiches, hot coffee, OTC meds, snacks, clothing items, etc. Like a super-sized combo deli and convenience store. Best of all friendly, helpful staff. Open early to late.

None of the food in town is really worth all the money you have to throw down, mostly tasteless chain options or overpriced pancakes- the town caters to this crowd, like Myrtle Beach or any other tourist town. But the grill in this little general store at the end of town right before the Smokies breaks the boring and for... More

My husband I and had seen reviews of the burgers here so we tried them New Years Eve as they were open late. Normally the close the Deli at 5PM I believe but they were staying open late for the crowd. The burgers were very good and we also shared fried pickles. This is also a nice small grocery store... We got into town late at night. They were still open, thankfully, and had a few items that we forgot to pack. They were lifesavers that night. Lol Souvenirs, groceries, and even a deli.

They have a great menu. The hamburgers were awesome and they had all kinds of sandwiches and other options as well. The seating is minimal.

I would recommend the deli here to everyone. As an avid wildlife photographer, the Smokies is one of favorite places to shoot and Old Dad's is a guaranteed stop for me when I'm in town, It's the perfect place for photographers to stop and grab sandwiches before they head into the GSMNP. Whether it's breakfast, lunch or both, I would... More
