My all time favorite restaurant is The Melting Pot. Not only do they have fantastic food, but it's a dinning experience. For my birthday we decided to go to The Melting Pot in Gatlinburg, TN...a last minute decision so we did not have reservations. When we walked into the restaurant around 4:20pm, the restaurant opened at 4, we didn't get... More

Micheal was awsome. Step by step he walked us through dinner. I will say not a typical American dinner experience. Love the one you're with and enjoy the time you have to yourselves.

First time visiting the Melting Pot and came away with mixed emotions. The good--the atmosphere is quiet and romantic. The cheese fondue was quiet tasty. The chocolate fondue was the best. The bad--the entrees are not worth the price. I ordered the filet-mignon, shrimp and chicken. In case you are not aware you have to cook your own food in... More

Thank you for trying The Melting Pot. It sounds like your recent visit was your first time. We hope that our staff was able to walk you through the traditional fondue meal which does include cooking your meal, bite by bite at a leisurely pace. We do offer other cooking styles beyond our Seasoned Court Bouillon and we hope that... More

We had a wonderful late dinner at the Melting Pot. When we arrived there were few people there. It was around 8 pm. We were seated in a comfortable booth in a dimly lit area. Very calming and romantic. Our server, Terrance, was so nice. He was down to earth and eager to please. It felt as if we were... More

Not necessarily my cup of tea but a fun and different eating experience. Great service. The wait staff really has a lot to do. With all of the courses and the sauces and entrees, and just the whole experience. They REALLY have a lot to do. The food was great. WAY more than enough to eat. My wife and I were... More

It's the experience that matters here! There was six of us, none had ever been to a Melting Pot, we all ordered the 4 course meal. Our server was wonderful, she was friendly and remembered our names, she laughed and joked with us all during the meal. We enjoyed the dessert the most! Now we've had the experience and decided... Fondue style cooking at it's best. Nice place to relax and not get in a hurry. Plan to stay awhile and just relax and enjoy each others company.

Melting Pot is normally one of the highest priced restaurants in the area, but sign up for the emails about specials and it ends up being very affordable. We always take advantage of their "happy hour" which is 4:30-7:00 pm M-F ( always dbl check in case they change) that takes place in the bar/lounge. It has a great view... More

My husband and I decided to take a much needed getaway for just the two if us. We got to gatlinburg a little late and I have been wanting to try this place out for quite awhile so we decided to go in. Best decision by far, our servers name was Eli and he was the best and made small... More
