I took my wife here as she has always wanted to go; it was a Thursday so no problem with reservations or parking. We ordered the 4-course which includes cheese, salad, entree and dessert. I had the classic plate while my wife had the surf and turf; cooked in broth. Our waiter was Jonathan and he... read more

My boyfriend and I went here on an impromptu vacation after a full day of skiing. We were seated immediately, and our server, Alena, was so polite and prompt. We never wanted for anything because Alena was already ready for us. She gave excellent suggestions on the sauces, and her service brought this experience at a chain restaurant up to... More

Delicious food adventure that pleased even the picky eaters in our family. Everything we had was delicious, especially the cheese and chocolate!

We had dinner at The Melting Pot after our wonderful wedding in Gatlinburg. I called that morning to see it I could reserve a table with the ultimate package on such a short notice. The person answering the phone checked to see it they had roses on hand and made the reservation. We arrived early expecting to have to wait... More

My wife and I visited here at the last night of our honeymoon and were slightly disappointed. Our server did a great job and the food was good, but it was just soo expensive. For someone who is a part of the lower-middle-class, I just couldn't enjoy myself with the heavy prices looming over me. I kept saying to myself... More

Not the kind of place I'm used to but it was very neat. The food was at best "OK" but the environment and the experience was awesome. I'd recommend this to everyone at least once, but try the deserts first!

A group of Shaggers were attending a Shagger Club Convention in Pigeon Forge. We decided to tour Gatlinburg and have lunch. The Melting Pot was chosen. The food was fantastic. Although cold, many people were out on this Saturday. We experience a long wait but it was worth the wait. This restaurant is up stairs and we could not find... More

Decided to go here for my birthday. I mentioned it on OpenTable and at the restaurant that we were coming to celebrate my birthday. The service was horrible. They didn't mention anything about my birthday when the table behind us got a plate that had writing in chocolate saying happy birthday. The food was okay, but not worth $100 at... More

We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We asked for a private table for two and got one, with beautiful mountain views. They have lunch specials from 12-4, and it was such a good deal! Sit down and stay a while, this is an EXPERIENCE. There is no other restaurant like this in this area. It is higher priced,... More

We have had reservations at the Melting Pot in Gatlinburg for the last four years for New Year's Eve. Primarily because it's the only place in town I know that takes reservations. Otherwise you're stuck standing in line and waiting for a long time even if you call ahead. The price has increased every year, and the menu items for... More
