We were looking for the best place for fresh trout and found it. Both of our entrees - grilled with almonds and pan fried were delicious. I am not a hush puppy fan, but these were worth the calories. Our waitress, Barb is accomplished and friendly. She offered to fillet the whole pan-fried trout, which she did like a pro.... More

this was our last dinner of an excellent week of vacaioning in the Smoky Mountains. This a restaurant that we had been at before. Every part of the meal was excellent from fried green tomatoes to hushpuppies to coleslaw and rainbow trout dishes. My fantastic wife who usually does not like loved her entree. I would recommend this restaurant to... More

This place took me straight back to my childhood, trout fishing with my dad in the state parks of Missouri. It's very lodge-y, old school...some might say out of date but I think it falls under "quaint & charming". We were seated by manager Mike and Miss Mary (who makes all their pies) was our server. They were both very... More

If you like fresh fish, then this is the place for you! We go here every single year when we are in the area. The staff is friendly and the food is fresh but not overpriced. Love Love Love it!

We are still talking about how fantastic the meal was a week later. The fried green tomoatoes were an excellent app. The salads had homemade dressing and the blue cheese was the best I've had! The hush puppies were well worth the hype. Our waitress even brought a fresh basket with dinner - so they would be hot! I ordered... More

Stopped here with the boyfriend on our last day in Gatlinburg. I had the blacken rainbow trout and it was delish. Hush puppies, cole slaw and trout fritters were all made fresh in house. This is a great place to eat. Its small and quaint. Service was very good as well.

My wife and I had dinner at the Trout House and it was delightful. The food and service were excellent with a special "shoutout" to Trudy and Mike who took great care of us. The food here is definitely a step above. In fact, the salad dressings are made in the kitchen (loved the blue cheese dressing). I normally think... More

After a day of whitewater rafting and hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains, we were looking for a good meal with local cuisine and plenty of food. They had trout 16 different ways, homemade fried green tomatoes and freshly made pie for dessert. Yum. I think it would be impossible to leave here hungry. Also, this was the least expensive... More

We were staying right near here and the weather was raining so we wanted somewhere close. Boy are we glad we did! We were greeted by who I believe to be the owner and sat right away. He told us the appetizer special was fried green tomatoes so we ordered them right away. When we received our tomatoes we could... More
