Excellent pancakes

We stopped in for breakfast before a day in the park hiking. Coffee was good and served in a huge mug, no small coffee shop mugs here. Service was prompt. I tried the short stack of blueberry pancakes with bacon. The pancakes were plenty big enough for one and very good ! Only 2 pieces of bacon... read more

There are a lot of pancake joints to choose from in Gatlinburg, glad that we stopped at Little House of Pancakes. The pancakes are large and yummy. I read another review regarding the coffee and found it to be true. The mugs are large and the coffee is great. It was a nice way to start the day and didn't... More

We ate here on our way to the smokies for breakfast. It was a very popular restaurant with a classic good ol' country breakfast feel. We were seated immediately and our waitress was so nice! I got a stack of pancakes with bacon and eggs while my fiancee got a omelet with about everything in it. Very affordable pricing, local... More

Cute little place not directly on the strip. Good service and good food. I got the banana pancakes, diced potatoes, and grits with cheese. The pancakes were delicious and fluffy. The potatoes were very good. And the grits were steaming hot when they came out and was good, I do recommend them with the cheese. Overall very good.

Every time we come to the mountains we try to eat here. It is friendly and homey. The restaurant is clean and the waitresses are always so nice. The blueberry pancakes are my favorite here but the rest of the party liked the bisquits/gravy and the diced potatoes. Reminds you of your grandmothers homemade breakfast feasts. Just yummy.

First breakfast in Gatlinburg - not originally on list of places - but took a recommendation of a local and ate here. Standard breakfast fare country style - very nicely done. Nice, old homey look and feel. Nothing fancy just good food at a good price. Pancakes and eggs and an egg white omelet with toast and coffee. Very nice... More

My husband and I ate breakfast here 4 of the 5 days were were in Gatlingburg in April 2015. They were just outside of the downtown and have their own parking area, so no having to find and pay for parking and then walking to a restaurant. Service was fast, food good, prices reasonable. We had specific times we had... More

It is so nice to find a great restaurant about three miles outside of the touristy town of Gatlinburg. This place is the real deal---almost all locals eat here. The ambiance is so nice---employees are friendly and efficient! And the food is scrumptious. One day I had the "City Ham", and two days later I had the "Country Ham"---both were... More

My wife and I stopped here for breakfast since it was near our resort. I ordered the sampler with eggs, grits, ham, bacon, sausage and wheat toast. The food was delicious with the exception of the amount of salt on the salt cured ham being over powering. My wife ordered the pancakes with bacon and they were delicious. The staff... More

Prices are reasonable and the food is excellent. The pancakes are fluffy and the eggs are cooked just the way we like. Nothing fancy, where the locals go for breakfast and lunch they close at two.
