After a brief 10 minute wait, we were served up some delicious foods. The server was friendly and attentive. The menu had a lot of interesting dishes to offer, and the prices are very reasonable. We had the sliders which were excellent. The serving size was indeed generous and the slight sweetness of the bun really balanced the salty spiciness... More

I did not expected to have such a wonderful lunch in a small town. We stopped here for lunch on Friday in February. It is such a cute small place. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. We had mac and cheese and chorizo sliders. Mac and cheese by itself was ok. It needed more slat and cheese. However, paired with chorizo... More

The food is just awesome. Excellent salad. We had the chicken dinner - good comfort food on a cold evening. The service was friendly and efficient. I'd eat here as a first choice for dinner.

We had a wonderful lunch on a cold-cold day. Nice local beers from Duluth and Minneapolis. Great ham and bean soup, Then we had mussels with a nice garlic broth and a crusty bread for dipping. The salad was a wonderful mixture of poached pears, duck confit, roasted beets and more. All yummy in a nice pleasant atmosphere.

Above the ordinary - - extra-ordinary! SUCH great food, lovingly prepared and it all is evident in a beautiful presentation and amazing taste. This is THE BEST place to eat in Grand Marais, although there are other tasty places, too! We were thoroughly pleased!!

Crooked Spoon is one of our favorite places to go for a special night. Best unique vegetables EVER! Great wine selection. Roasted chicken is always a winner. Mashed potatoes are the bomb. Bison steak is HUGE and we always have leftovers.

I stopped into the crooked spoon only for the creme brûlée that I saw on the menu outside and was not disappointed. I'm somewhat of a creme brûlée snob and the crooked spoon is definitely in my top 5. Nice quiet wine bar atmosphere, all an older crowd but the wait staff were warm welcoming and continuously checked in to... More

It is a very quaint, interesting restaurant. It has an interesting name, and the food is absolutely amazing. The inside is clean and rustic. The walls are adorned with beautiful paintings from the artists around the area. The food is always great, and a wide variety of selection. Not a very touristy restaurant, and waits are long if around busy... More
