The food was interesting and delicious. Great unexpected, but very tasty, combinations. I had a smaller meal and it was priced reasonably. I love the decor, the artistic hand made wooden spoons hanging on the wall were like sculptures, and the paintings were interesting and pleasing. The servers were excellent, explaining dishes well. It is small and busy, but I... More

We visited early October, which is a very busy season due to fall colors. The wait was around an hour and the restaurant was busy all night. The french onion soup was recommended by many other travelers. The soup was delicious. My husband had a braised pork shank and he swears that it is the BEST meal he has ever... More

Well...this is the second year we have attended the Crooked Spoon Café Dinner/Wine Pairing. The wines chosen by the owners and sommeliers are fantastic! The different types of foods for each course are quite interesting. If you like some foods that are a bit out of the ordinary, you're in luck! Portions are small but some are tasty. The atmosphere... We ordered the two specials - the salmon and the ribeye. If this chef is calling it a special, he's calling it that because he's going to do something special with it! So just order the special, order the French onion soup, and absolutely order a dessert. You will not be disappointed at the Crooked Spoon! We absolutely love this... More

Talk about an unexpected surprise amongst the ordinary. Stopped for lunch because of the interesting name... loved the food and service. Menu reads like a bigger city bistro. Small, but well chosen local beer drafts to accompany the grub. My pork belly lettuce wrap with Sriracha slaw was unexpected and tasty. Rest of my family very happy with there items... More

We ate here on their last night of the season, but the service & food was so good you never would have known! They didn't act burnt out & the food was prepared to perfection. We had drinks and a smoked fish appetizer at the bar before being seated. I had the duck breast (amazing) & my husband had the... More

This place fills up quickly, and they don't take reservations for parties under 6 people. So be sure to stop early and get your name on the list and then walk around and shop a bit. The wait is well worth it. The food is presented so beautifully, you'll be taking pictures! High quality, fresh, organic ingredients and perfect portions.

My wife and I enjoyed the best duck dish we've had in decades, while our companions said the same about their baked chicken dinner. In both cases, the portions were more than ample and the food was absolutely delicious and expertly prepared.

First visit to this restaurant. We can now say it's our favorite sit down restaurant in town. Their burger and French Onion Soup was absolutely fantastic. Get there a little early for lunch if you don't want to have to wait. Not a big place, but is big on food. You won't be disappointed.

We enjoyed our lunch here so much that we went back again for dinner a few hours later. The menu was varied and generally very healthy and you could tell when eating the food that the raw ingredients they sourced were of excellent quality. Particularly memorable was the smoked salmon rillette and a delicious crispy-skinned salmon, cooked to perfection with... More
