Wow, what a great place to eat. The food is excellent and the service was also excellent. All the entrees are home made and delicious. Will go back When i am on the North Shore next time.

Nice, quaint place. It is small but thankfully not very busy when we visited. Had duck with risotto and it was delicious!

My wife and I had lunch here and it was excellent. The BLT was fabulous, the salad was scrumptious, and the banana Brulee was our of this world. Our server was exceptional and made our lunch a great experience. Thanks

If you want to make your taste buds happy, then eat here. We had mussels, pizza, salmon, french onion soup, & salad. If once in a not-so-very-often time you experience properly cooked, great tasting food, here's another opportunity. Intimate. Up-scale. Delicious. Great place for our 40th anniversary dinner!

In the middle of the winter, -12 degrees outside: a warm welcome, a generous wine pour, and one of the best scallop dishes I've ever had. All way up in the northland.

We decided to check out Grand Marais after a day of skiing. We expected midwestern diner fare but found gourmet food and outstanding desserts. Generous portions, very attentive service and the food very well prepared. LOVED the french onion soup and the salad with pears and walnuts. Amish chicken delicious. The banana dessert with ice cream and cashew brittle was... More

Yummy food. Great service! Would come back any time we are in the area. This site is making me write 100 characters or I would have stopped at the first sentence! That was all that was needed

Crooked Spoon achieves the perfect balance of innovation and satisfaction. The glazed black pepper bacon on the BLT is not the same as the applewood bacon on the burger. Each offering is s complimented, highlighted and made ever-so-tasty in a thoughtful, honest way. [No goofy pairings here!] Love everything I've eaten here and will return often! Servings are average to... More

Oh my stars...our lunch was absolutely fabulous! The Pastrami sandwich was delicious; the potato wedges were excellent; the turkey confit sandwich was OUTSTANDING and the napa cabbage salad was amazing. Oh - and don't pass on the rosemary popcorn! Wow. We are thoroughly impressed. Can't wait to come back! Oh - and PS - the Bananas Foster Dessert was outrageously... More

We live here and go to the Crooked Spoon for special occasions and for lunch when we are in town for errands. Owned by a young family, the menu is both innovative and generous. You will not go hungry here, and you will have a really fine dining experience. Staff is pleasant and efficient. The wine list is small but... More
