Had the veggie bean burrito and the spice in the sauce was just right.. We also had a few cocktails in the "Raven" and the bartender makes good tini's and Manhattan's.. Happy people are we..)

Stopped in o the GFT this past weekend after a day of snowmobiling. Ordered food and drinks and meal started off good. That night there was a live band and they were great, definitely why the crowd was there. Had the chicken wings which were baked and had some good flavour. Beer was from local breweries and had a decent... More

We have been to this place several times. At best, I would call everything (service, food, drinks, etc.) average. There is a lot of potential, but it never seems to appear. The wait staff acts like your presence is an inconvenience and the food is overpriced for what you receive. The only redeeming characteristic is that the view and location... More

The view and atmosphere is awesome! Very friendly and great service. The food was average though... but still a good experience. I would definitely come back, but probably for a drink or simple food, like the burger.

Very fun, bar atmosphere. They have all types of world currency displayed over the bar. Has the feeling of a hip place in the outskirts of a metro area. They have a rooftop deck that would have great views of the lake in the summer. (We were there on a Sat. night in March). Service was okay; not particularly attentive.... More

This is a great restaurant with a beautiful view of the Grand Marais harbor on Lake Superior. The food is good, the beer is better, and the atmosphere is charming. A bit more spendy for some that are on a tight budget, but worth the stop!!

In my many visits, I've never been disappointed. Lively, loud, and full of character (and characters). Food is very good-- I especially like the vegetarian chili. Good selection of specially beers, including a number brewed in Minnesota. Decent pours on the distilled beverages.

I've had many a dinner here, never disappointed. Walleye dinner is comparable to fine restaurant, walleye sandwich falls off the bun, 3 soups of the day, wonderful pastas, great burger. Their side greens is actually a very nice salad -I recommend their romano dressing. Their bargain is baked ziti and well done. They have a large array of local craft... More

Loved the quiet atmosphere in The Raven - the side bar downstairs quiet dim and full of great people! Plus delicious specialty drinks!!!

This was my second supper at the Gunflint Tavern. The veggie chili was great and the margarita perfect. It was winter, not summer, and the middle of the week so it was quieter than before. More like a restaurant with a bar attached. I'd go back again.
