Nice place to wet your whistle after eating at Dockside fish market. This is where the locals hang out and are friendly.

We stumbled on to this great local tavern by mistake. While looking for another bar and grill, we walked by this place and was so glad we stopped. The burger was great and so was the soup of the day.

This restaurant was definitely not impressive. We stopped for an early dinner and were treated to a grumpy waitress and poor food. It took a while to get waited on and the drink I ordered (a 7-7) was flat. I ordered a the BBQ ribs (house specialty) and the first order was dried out and not chewable. The salad was... More

Whenever we are in GM we are at the Gunflint Tavern! Such a cozy atmosphere during the day ... sit and have a beer and enjoy some apps ... or in the evening ... always great music and the pizza is to die for!

We like to travel and stop and the small taverns. We were amazed at the beer selection on tap in this small town. Lots of choices. The food was also a huge surprise. I had the fishermans stew and it was fantastic. My husband had one of the best burgers ever! The staff was friendly even though they were obviously... More

The food was great-- the service was not. It wasn't the waitress's fault, there just wasn't enough of her to go around. Getting anything took a really long time- there were four of us and we waited around an hour to get our food. That said, if you're on vacation and really patient, the food was delicious. The atmosphere is... More

We stopped in for drinks, but the food looked amazing with some very unique menu options. The bloody Mary's had shrimp the size of lobsters hanging off them, yum!! Would definitely recommend.

If you are not into the booming local beer scene this isn't the place for you. The location is awesome, rooftop deck is fantastic. The beer selection is as good as it gets for local beers and just plain great beers. The staff was fun and very friedly. The food is expensive but you get a lot for your money.... More

They are in the process of becoming a brew pub, good food but slightly expensive. Good local beer selection. They had live music they night we were there.
