Had a nice dinner here while driving the North Shore. Menu is limited to fish, chicken, burgers, sandwiches and salads. I had the Blue Pig which was a 1/2 lb burger with bacon, blue cheese, and it was very good. The waitress was very kind, the service was very good and the decor in the restaurant is like a north... The atmosphere is welcoming and warm; locals looking and smiling as you enter. People picking up pizza to take home chatted with us as we sat at the bar the duration of our visit. We had soup and onion rings and draft. I know, strange trio - but it's what hit the spot. The bartenders were pleasant and chatted us... More

My family and I dicovered My Sister's Place last year while visiting Grand Marais. Not sure how we've missed it previously, but it's a given when planning our North Shore visits. The quality of the food is still there. I love the Goober Burger, and would love to try something else, but don't want to miss out!! We always get... More

Food was good and the atmosphere even better. I had the cheeseburger and my only complaint is you have to pay extra for onion lettuce and tomato. Down South that comes standard on a burger........

Tonight we had the Walleye Dinner and North Shore Burger with Wild Rice. Both meals were delightful. The Walleye was especially tasty! and the service was great. This was our second visit in a one year span and we were not disappointed.

A very wide variety of burger choices - Beef, bison, multiple combinations of toppings. A respectable variety of beers on tap and more in bottles. Friendly staff, good service.

We have stopped here for supper on our way into town for almost 10 years now. The food is always good, the seating for a group of 5-10 is good and the drinks varied. A wide variety of burgers, including bison was a hit. Ample food and quite busy, which tells you something. It's next door to a grocery store,... More

Trying a bit to hard on the rustic interior, a bit casual on food and service. It is OK, but better food and décor available in town for no more or less cash. Not in my top half of area restaurants. Go sometimes because some of family prefer this type of place. To be fair, some in my family like... More

A great burger and beer for your first meal outside of the boundary waters, and it also satisfied a craving for something light and hearty after several days of eating out with a terrific Greek salad. Great place to take kids, with options for fresh fruit or carrots instead of fries to go with the standard burger, hot dog, corn... More
