Naniboujou Lodge

Our family has been going most every summer since 1986. Our daughter has grown up at the Naniboujou and today, brings her family there, even though they live in North Carolina. It is a just the most relaxing, peaceful, retreat from the 'real world, has some the best food in the world and the... read more

We have eaten many times at Naniboujou Lodge. My family has visited there for over forty years and the delicious food and wonderful staff never ever disappoint.

If you're within 50 miles, don't miss breakfast at Naniboujou. It's like your grandmother is cooking especiallyfor you, only better. Plus terrific, friendly service. A step back in time to simpler, friendlier, and more relaxed ways. Best of all, there is no loud music, television, or children running wildly around. Lunch and dinner are good too. They might be exceptional... More

Naniboujou Lodge is a fantastic place to visit. We have made it a point to come visit our friends at the Lodge for over a decade. We love the ambiance and the special way that we are treated at the Lodge. One special person is Bonnie. We have watched her advance through the positions of the Lodge from waitress to... More

Very nice Sunday brunch - a little more expensive but the quality and variety of food is very good, nice atmosphere.

Naniboujou is such a landmark, and the people there even more so. The food is top notch, as are the friendly group of folks that work in the dining room. Winters are our favorite time there with their fixed menu and the fantastic, historic dining room with the huge fireplace blazing. Their coffee could use an upgrade, but there isn't... More

Just spent 5 days at Naniboujou, every single meal was a hit out of the park. I need to go home to lose weight :)

There is no excused for place to even still be around. Just because they still own the land does nto mean they need to be around. The restaurant is horrible to say the least. The day my family and I went, you would have thought it was the busiest day of the year. Dishes everywhere on empty tables and the... More

We have eaten in restaurants around the world and this is one of our favourites. The native motif painted ceiling is simply breath-taking and very unique. The room is large, yet very cozy and charming, given the colors and decor. Location is a 15 minute drive from Grand Marais. Sunday brunch was wonderful!. The coffee is one of the best... More
