I've never found Java Moose that impressive. I've tried regular coffee and espresso drinks without finding that something that makes me want to return. Friendly staff. A Caribou or Dunn Brothers would easily compete.

We went back to the Java Moose in Grand Marais this spring and it is as wonderful as ever. It has excellent service and food.

Look no further. This is our watering hole! Sitting by the water with a cuppa joe, relaxing and watching the harbor.....enough said.

I love this place. It's a perfect stop to begin your day or to grab your favorite beverage prior to window shopping or walking along the Harbor.

We got coffee there each morning. Good coffee, good service. They have a parking lot so you can just pull in and grab a cup.

Wife and I stopped by twice a day during our Grand Marais visit in November. Great mocha and other flavored coffees each time we ordered. Great local flair and ambiance. Beautiful location across the street from Lake Superior. Wish I could transport the place to the cities!!!

This is your typical coffeehouse with a northern flavor. My wife and I are from southern Illinois and they folks that waited on us got the biggest kick out of our southern accents.....which we didn't think we had. LOL
