Better Than Ever

The new home for the co-op has greatly improved the selection of items available there. I always head for the Brown Cow yogurt and fine selection of cheeses and organic coffees. We belong to this co-op and Minnesota's first co-op, the Wedge, and the former compares favorably--although prices of... read more

This is a small locally owned food store open to all. It carries organic and specialty foods, spices in bulk for those once in a lifetime fresh tasting recipes, and regular staples. It is sometimes open when the two conventional food stores in town are not. The staff is warm and eclectic as the stock. Worth a visit even when... More

It had a nice selection for a small store and the prices were about the same for any co-op. It is also the only grocer open on a Sunday, so it was busy. Quick check out, and very nice people.

Our daughter has many food allergies that make eating out near impossible. Our accommodations included a full kitchen, so we were able to make all of our meals. While we brought most of our food from home, the inevitable happened, and we forgot certain items. The co-op was so nice to have nearby to be able to find the food... More

This has been my go-to place on this trip. Nice little co-op with soup and sandwiches to go. Decently sized produce section as well as a bulk food section. There is a farmer's market here on Saturdays in the summer, although right now the growing season is just getting started.

LOVE this place. Felt like I was at home at my Lakewinds co-op. The prices were surprisingly what they are at home in Mpls.

Stopped to buy coffee while staying at Lutsen Mtn Resort. The selection is average for a community that size. However, I was insulted by the cashier because I didn't write the product number of the coffee in the proper space... Seriously. When I explained where i wrote it, she looked at me incredulously and stated that there was a clear... More

A good place to get fresh organic food to go for a picnic or stock up on food for a camping trip. Interesting bulk section, soup made from scratch, fresh salads.

The co-op is primarily a grocery store that has 3 pots of soup, a small case of sweet and savory fresh-baked items, loads of fruits, veggies, really nice selection of cheeses, and a well-picked sampling of meats that all make for a great picnic or sit down at their Wi-Fi friendly tables.
