The Landing has a varied menu that anyone should be able to find something they would like. Some of the best onion rings I have had. Great burgers with many variations. Nice bar area with fireplace and sometimes live entertainment. Friendly staff.

We planned to eat here as we had many times over the years but when we arrived someone sitting at the bar eating said they were closed. This was not indicated on the hours posted or on the web site. As we had travelled 25 miles, we were disappointed and annoyed. Would think twice before returning.

Our visit was disappointing. The setting is quaint and rustic. But the dining area is extremely loud well it is busy. And, there were only two people waiting and from what we could gather, only one person cooking. That translated into slow service. We ordered the cashew crusted walleye. It was tasty but it is the first time I have... More

We went to Grand Marais for a fun weekend getaway...resort was a big disappointment, and honestly I think it was the worst service I have ever had at a hotel. We had no towels or shampoo/conditioner ...and at 730 in the morning there is no staff on duty, so we found the laundry room and a maids cart and got... More

We saw Cook County's Most wanted on Sunday night. I think they are regulars there. Great group of musicians! Good food and drinks. A great way tomspendban evening after fishing all day.

Stayed here many times before but this time we got put in a bottom area of the lodge near the hot tub area and anytime that the hot tub was used you had to listen to the LOUD hum of the hot tub. I understand it was a packed lodge/ resort that weekend but when trying to tell the staff... More

We have a cabin in the Grand Marais area, so we've eaten at The Landing many times. It is a very comfortable place to go, with a great setting looking down the lake, and a big play area outside for kids. Their food is quite good. The ribs are great, and they have great desserts, including creme brule. During the... More

We end up here snowmobiling. It is always good and seems to do a good business. The burgers hit the spot and they have great soup too.

My wife and I had dinner here in November while staying in Grand Marais. Your dining options are limited in the off-season, so I think this is your best bet in that case. The decor was good, we both loved our food, and the service was great. It is a bit of a haul from Grand Marais, but well worth... More
