Under the new management again!!! Went in to check it out and only food was burgers, salads and pasta. The signature dish was Macaroni and Cheese with fake crab. Really. The new decor is a bore. Good idea to try and be nostalgic but it ain't workin'. Not sure why they stripped everything. It looked upscale before but now there... More

Still trying to figure it out. Working at being a good restaurant, but at a bit of a lose after a change in ownership. Many of the special events that were a part of the Landing are missing.

We had about 30 people in the back room for a gathering after a memorial service. Most of the people in attendance had both food and drinks. There were also any where from 6 to 15 people in the other part of the bar, depending on the time of the evening. There were only three employees on the shift: a... More

The Landing has a varied menu that anyone should be able to find something they would like. Some of the best onion rings I have had. Great burgers with many variations. Nice bar area with fireplace and sometimes live entertainment. Friendly staff.

We planned to eat here as we had many times over the years but when we arrived someone sitting at the bar eating said they were closed. This was not indicated on the hours posted or on the web site. As we had travelled 25 miles, we were disappointed and annoyed. Would think twice before returning.

Our visit was disappointing. The setting is quaint and rustic. But the dining area is extremely loud well it is busy. And, there were only two people waiting and from what we could gather, only one person cooking. That translated into slow service. We ordered the cashew crusted walleye. It was tasty but it is the first time I have... More

We went to Grand Marais for a fun weekend getaway...resort was a big disappointment, and honestly I think it was the worst service I have ever had at a hotel. We had no towels or shampoo/conditioner ...and at 730 in the morning there is no staff on duty, so we found the laundry room and a maids cart and got... More

We saw Cook County's Most wanted on Sunday night. I think they are regulars there. Great group of musicians! Good food and drinks. A great way tomspendban evening after fishing all day.

Stayed here many times before but this time we got put in a bottom area of the lodge near the hot tub area and anytime that the hot tub was used you had to listen to the LOUD hum of the hot tub. I understand it was a packed lodge/ resort that weekend but when trying to tell the staff... More
