Came in for a full-course meal following a week of camp-cooking. Delicious, delicious, delcious!!! with unique recipe combinations in everything from the salad dressing choices to the meat marinade. We didn't have room for dessert..but heard the oohs and ahhs! from other patrons. Don't miss their small supply store for trail friendly food.

What a treat. Visited the area with family. Trail center was highly recommended. So we drove up from grand marais. The atmosphere is classic, the food was wonderful. Try the open faced beef sand which. My brother raved about it. Our waitress was Sue. A 20 year veteran. Delightful. Knew her stuff and made out day

Trail Center has always been at the forefront of good eats on the Gunflint Trail. Consistently providing service, value and good food for travelers. The rib-eye special with wild rice pilaf hit the spot after a long day on the trail the other day. My wife enjoys the hearty pancakes and will usually take home an extra jar of pumpkin... More

We have been to the Trail Center a number of times and always have a great meal. The atmosphere is very casual and caters to all kinds. The food and malts are plentiful. We like the burgers, chili, and fish. The dining room is small so when they are busy you will have to wait for a table. If you... More

Anything on the menu is great. Fish and Chips were as good as I can get anywhere in the cities. Great place for pumpkin syrup, wild fruit jams, the best hot ginger soy sauce (when in supply)! It reflects the heart of the Gunflint Trail in charm and spirit. Nice place to stop off after a hike, paddle, camping trip,... More

I have had lunch or dinner at Trail Center perhaps two dozen times. 100% of the meals have been great. 100% of the time service has been friendly and efficient. Specific recommendations: The Canoe, great burger with fries and an old-fashioned malt; The Fungus, a portabella mushroom sandwich; ribs on Sunday night, my personal favorite. Soups are good. Salads, especially... More

We stopped in for lunch on the day we drove the Gunflint Trail and opted to try their pork tenderloin sandwich. It was one of the best I've ever had! It's the larger kind that hangs over enough it could fit on 2 buns, and it's also thicker than most, so you get a great flavor of the pork on... More

We stopped in here for dinner while staying up on the Gunflint and had a really good meal. I had a cheeseburger and my boyfriend had the prime rib that was on special, both of which were good. The service was very prompt and the decor very fitting with the area. They also have a small store attached with limited... More

Vibrant atmosphere, considerate service, and a grand array of good eats. My personal favorite treat is their home-made honey-jalepeno sauce. I put it on just about everything! My family (kid-friendly, for sure) eats here multiple times every year during our visit. People recognize us and are very friendly. So glad to have found such a place along the Trail!
