We had dinner and breakfast here prior to a canoeing trip in the Boundary Waters. It has lots of character, a good range of craft beers and great food. The battered Alaskan whitefish and fries is well up to British fish n' chips standards. It's a popular place so in season there may be a wait for a table.

Even though our cabin is down near Lutsen, we love to make the drive to Trail Center at least once a year for a good dinner. This time was Fall Color Tour, and though the leaves seemed a little dull this year, the meal did not disappoint. The bread and salad started the meal off deliciously. Though I must say... More

We stopped in for late lunch, had a Black Bean Burger, malted milk, everything was excellent. Friendly staff (compared to the previous ones, say 20 years ago) and a quaint up-north feel.

We spend every July in this part of the country. We eat at this place at least once a week while we're there. The food is fantastic and the owners and staff are friendly and fun! I love the walleye sandwiches and my husband loves the chocolate shakes.

We ate several meals at Trail Center Lodge. Best burger I've had in a long time! Delicious breakfasts. A charming touch - wine and juice are served in canning jars.

Though my fish was pretty average, my husband's BBQ ribs (a Sunday night special) were outstanding on two levels: the size was incredible, and the flavor was absolutely delicious. Definitely the best ribs either of us have tasted!

Fantastic homemade soup and sandwiches! Husband had Friday night Fish Fry and sang its praises. I had the triple grilled cheese with a cup of soup - delicious and warming! Well worth the drive if you are in this neck of the woods. Great service, food and fun atmosphere.
