Definitely worth the drive to get here. Their Chicken Parmesan was fantastic, and my wife's Prime Rib was heavenly! Make it a point to get up here!

I had searched TripAdvisor for restaurants in and around Grand Marais during our recent trip there. This establishment showed up in the search results, with high ratings and a delicious-sounding menu with lots of variety. So, we decided to check it out. A bit to our surprise, this restaurant is about 29 miles north of town on the Gunflint Trail... More

Woodsy café offered a great hearty breakfast and great service at a fair price. We snuck in right at 11:00 when they were switching over to the lunch menu but they accommodated us for breakfast with a smile. The traditional bacon and eggs with hash browns were well prepared. My wife had the traditional French toast and enjoyed it, too.... More

Great food and great beer for dining at the establishment. I have never been disappointed in their service or quality of food. Strongly recommend the fried portabella mushroom appetizer.

We own a place in Lutsen and are up from the twin cities often. Our favorite venture is to head up the Gunflint Trail to the Trail Center for dinner. The setting, ambience, food and service are all outstanding! We love the fish fry, the shrimp are incredible (bigger and better then anything we've had in the cities), the malts....we... More

The breakfast is good and hot, especially when you have hiked all morning. The staff is friendly. They have a lot of general store items, which tend to be pricey....that is expected though if you are the only shop within 30+ miles. It could almost be a museum on the inside.

We love Trail Center's breakfast. We we eat there at least once every trip to the Gunflint. They nail some hard to find up north southern treats (biscuits and gravy, bread pudding french toast, cheese and sausage grits). The service is friendly and efficient and we always leave satisfied.

Great food and service! We enjoyed a great steak dinner, cooked exactly as we ordered - all delicious! Our annual trip to the BWCAW is never complete without a meal here!

We went for dinner and it was so good we returned a day later for breafast! The food was hearty and delicious. The hot roast beef served on yorkshire pudding was the perfect comfort food after a rainy day hike! The four of us each tried a different entree and everyone was happy! There was truly something for everyone. The... More

Always "a must" on our trips to the Gunflint Trail - Trail Center is the best restaurant EVER! As well as having high quality food - their malts are the best! We recently tried a "strawberry rhubarb" malt. OMG!! SO delicious!! Can hardly wait to return next month for more mouth watering delights!!
