Good old variety of fish and chips with fish for purchase to take home for cooking. Little deli with salads and desserts but this place is for fish lovers primarily. I am going back. No hesitation.

This place has the best fish around! It isn't cheap, but it is worth it. I never go to Grand Marais without stopping for some fresh herring.

On our way up to Canada, we stopped for lunch. We started to go to the "place next door" - closer to the harbor, and found it more pricey than we wanted to spend at lunch. We walked back up the hill to Dockside. So glad we did! Fun little fish market, that serves food, and has a nice little... More

We are from Kansas. So the idea that we could eat fish that someone went out and caught that very morning was amazing to us. The staff was very helpful to help us pick out a kind we would like. We thought we might go down and watch the boat come in with the fish catch, until she informed us... More

We had the whitefish and walley fish and chips. Very good! Between $10-$13 per basket. Order at the counter and they bring it out to your table - both indoor and outdoor seating.

We came for dinner and after reading their abounding menu and debating....We had the Walleye basket that comes with Fries. The fish was delicious! Not greasy at all, and big pieces. Fries were fresh and hot, both so good!!! We would definitely eat there again! They also have fish and lots of other salads, wraps etc. and a lovely array... More

We had a good meal here. Fish and Chips for a very reasonable price, with a beautiful view of the lake and harbor.

Upon entry of the well kept and attractive restaurant, we were greeted with fresh smoked fish and warm smiles. My 1 year old daughter loved the whitefish, myself the salmon. Prices are reasonable and food is fresh. Having the salmon wrap was surprisingly filling and the walleye basket was well prepared with light breading. I recommend the tartar sauce to... More

We weren't overly hungry after stuffing ourselves with great donuts earlier, but, because of the great recommendations, shared a walleye basket before heading back to Lutsen. Luckily, we were there before the "season" started because not much seating, but now know if we had to wait we would! The large chunks of fresh walleye were incredible, and the fries and... More

This is a busy place! You order at the counter and the food is brought to your table. There are few tables and chairs, inside and on the deck. They sell fresh fish, smoked fish, and desserts and meals. I recommend the walleye basket for $8.50, which hit the spot on a cold and rainy day! FYI, looks like you... More
