This place never disappoints

They have the best smoked fish. Have been here several times for smoked salmon and as usual it was great. They even offer meals and a variety of soups. Can choose to eat inside or outside overlookinget Lake Superior. A great place to relax.

Dockside is always our family's favorite place for fish and chips, smoked fish to bring back home and unique gifts.

We were looking forward to fish and chips here. It was a small restaurant /fish market on the side of the road. It looked very charming from the outside. The first problem was parking. Inside, it was not very nice to have to order from a counter like a fast food joint. The meal was expensive for what it was,... More

When you go through Grand Marais, this is a must. Homemade chowder, smoked local whitefish and trout. I'd go back in a heart beat.

Had a very nice fish chowder on the deck overlooking the harbor, and we sat and watched a couple of young men catch a some nice fish off the dock.

Located right on the water and the fishing boats out front. My wife had the whitefish and I had the walleye. Both were great. Service friendly and good. Also, purchased 1/2 lb. of smoked whitefish as a take out.

We stopped in early July to pick up some smoked whitefish and smoked trout wraps to go. Both were very good, in fact on our return trip home from a camping trip in Canada, we stopped and picked up additional smoked trout wraps for a lake side picnic on the way back home

Great selection of smoked fish and other seafoods, sandwiches, fish and chips and desserts. Nice little patio to sit and eat at that faces the lake.

This is definitely the best place in town for fresh fish. The chowders are amazing and the smoked fish is fantastic. They have a few other options for the non-fish eaters in my family. My kids even loved the scallop & corn chowder!

We shared a local smoked river trout and a large seafood chowder. Both were terrific. I highly recommend the smoked fish. Rich flavors and fresh. This place is also popular for fried fish and seafood. Great value for money. Nice balcony with a view over the lake.
