I had the vegetable beef soup and it was excellent. My husband's potato soup was not quite as hot as he likes. However, the 2 cups of soup with 2 slices apiece of fresh sourdough bread and 1 drink for just over $7.00 was a real find.

One of my favorite morning stops. Grab a raspberry cinnamon roll. Its huge and delicious. Priced right at just over a $1. Yum yum. I'd like one anytime.

We dined here one evening because it was within walking distance of the Crystal Inn and Suites. Never have I seen such a huge variety of hot or cold sandwiches! Although the Old Grist Mill Bakery is not licensed, we were very satisfied with our hot chicken sandwiches and observed lots of people buying loaves of fresh bread and other... More

Breads are good, but dessert options are limited to giant pans of heavily frosted bars (I'd say brownies but they were more like low, flat middleschool cafeteria brown cake squares). Hot soup is great on a chilly day

Hopefully this was a one off , but being the second visit within a month I am concerned there is a lack of attention to the dinning area. It needs to be cleaned: the fountain area, the tables, the floor, the glass doors, etc. The food was sub-par both visits. I have praised OGM in the past and have high... More

We stayed at the Crystal Inn across the road and were able to walk over to Old Grist Mill. They have all kinds of combinations of sandwiches and several types of soup. The young kids working there are kinda fun. They have nice tables to sit outside. They are so different than other sandwhich shops. We enjoyed our lunch.

Lots of choices: soup, sandwiches, pizza, salad, pasta, fresh loaves of bread, pastries, coffee, etc. Everything we had was wonderful and we couldn't believe how inexpensive it was. We were staying overnight in a nearby hotel and worked in three visits to this place because it was so.o good. I would consider it a must visit place and if we... More

My wife and I both ordered salads for supper. They were good -- but nothing to write home about. Thought we should have offered at least a slice of bread to go along with the salad!

If you are in a hurry, and there are a ton of people inside like there were when we were there, don't worry--they are FAST. The sandwiches are good, not great. Mint brownie very tasty. No complaints.
