Great Italian in a Small City

Every year I run a nature photo tour to the Slot Canyons and Monument Valley. Stromboli's is in walking distance from the motel and we always eat there. I've never been disappointed by the service, food, and price. Great Italian for at a very reasonable price.

The test of good pizza is a plain cheese pizza. Ours was very good, maybe a bit too much cheese, but the good crust and sauce made up for it. Tilley our waitress was very friendly. Some decent beer to match. Beer and pizza, what more can you ask for.

We were looking for a place to eat and found Strombolli's. Without any high hopes we went in there and were pleasantly surprised about the warm welcome. Food was very good as well (we had NY style pizzas) and the prices were right too. As europeans we didn't expect to see the tip allready being added to the bill but... More

We ordered a pepperoni, mushroom, salami and pepperoni pizza and bbq chicken calzone to share, hoping to have some leftovers for lunch tomorrow on the road. The pizza was okay but the calzone was burned black on the bottom, which we discovered after eating part of it. We ate not quite half but had to cut off the whole bottom... More

As the name suggest, this is an Italian restaurant. We had no complaints at all about anything, the pasta was good, the sauces were good, and the service was fine. As Italian food goes, it was good, but not exceptional. Prices were average for a meal of this type.

More food than you can eat, we had the leftovers for lunch the next day. Delicious bread and a decent wine list. No local wine, but I always try to order local wine/beer if I go anywhere. Big menu with lots of choices from pizza to pasta. Will have to try their pizza on our next trip to town.

Went there for a simple dinner and tried the Guido pizza. The thin, crispy base had a generous amount of toppings. Surprisingly large - easily overflowing the standard plate size. The flavour was a little disappointing - a little bland as the many toppings seemed to conflict or cancel each other out. There was no predominant flavour. The service was... More

The Guido has it all. What a pizza. This restaurant is busy for a reason. It's good! It's not a bus stop. It's there for all of us to enjoy, and enjoy, you will.Service is as good as it gets in a good restaurant which is full, much of the time. It's worth a wait. Enjoy the outside sawbuck tables, or... My wife and I for dinner. Busy with tourists and locals alike. Routine pizza parlour decor. Inside and patio seating. Service was good. Arizona craft beer was cold. We shared a medium pizza which was very good and of sufficient size to satisfy us both.
