Recommended in a few places we'd been that day. Great staff, sat outside in view of the massive smokers. Went for the sampler, good solid portion, excellent flavour, little dry towards the end needing sauce but well worth it! Amazing sausage. Frozen lemonade is great. $50 bucks for big sampler and a ribs with drinks and tip.

Enjoyed. This, good BBQ food. Especially liked beans and sweet corn on cob. Plastic plates and cutlery are in keeping, but perhaps take edge off it. Meat good, but a little dry. Soft though. Good value.

Great tasting food and well priced. Seems really authentic and it was probably some of the best tasting meat I've tried. Great live music really enhanced the place. Only reason I haven't given them 5 stars- I was with a big group of 10 and when we arrived it was extremely busy- the man seating us had no order in... More

As a Texan, I was dubious that Big John's was real Texas BBQ. Indeed, the menu was a bit gentrified. But when the meat arrived I was pleased to discover it was authentic. Be aware they think "brisket" can be pork, while a true Texan knows only beef should get that name. They do not offer a choice of chopped... More

As our motel was a 30 second walk from here (something we had regretted later as they play live music here), my wife and I thought we would give it a go. There was a queue which took about 15 minutes to get through, then when seated, we had to wait an age to be served for drinks and place... More

After traveling for 18 hours to get to Page, we were tired and just wanted to get a quick bite to eat before going to sleep. Big Johns was walking distance from our hotel. When we walked over and saw the lines of people waiting to get in, we were ready to walk further down the road to find someplace... More

Outdoor BBQ at the site of an old Sky Chief gas station, complete with a live Western band to accompany your ribs and grilled corn-on the cob dinner. Lots of foreign tourists looking for a "cowboy" experience, everyone having fun eating communally at long picnic tables. Our highlight of a short overnight stay in Page.

We enjoyed the BBQ--I had BBQ pork. But the real winner was the grilled corn -- delicious. Not a fancy place, but good food and reasonable prices.

Glad we went to eat at Big John's Texas BBQ. The food was very nice and the music absolutely superb. Very entertaining. This made up for a poor experience at a nearby hotel where we stayed overnight (see other review about Page).

The biggest smokers you will ever see, and the food and service were excellent. Topped off by a live band as well was just icing on the cake. We sat outside, great atmosphere, and the service was superb. The combination with a cob of corn was a great way to experience all the meat options
