Lovely views from the restaurant. A little pricey for pretty ordinary meals. We were there about 10 days before closing for the season and already two dishes were off the menu which was limited anyway. Wonder what was available a few days before closure?

I do not eat fish; therefore, my choices were limited. I enjoyed the Caesar Salad. I added chicken and it was very filling. The dressing was light, which I liked. Both evenings I had dessert - chocolate cake and carrot cake. I thought they were delicious, but the carrot cake was my favorite.

The restaurant's best feature is the stunning views of Bartlett Cove. The 2nd best feature are the servers who are pleasant and friendly in spite of slow systems, missing menu items and an average kitchen output. If you stick to ordering uncomplicated basics the food is fine - i.e. fish and chips, seafood pasta (skip the sauce) and salads were... More

The menu here is overly ambitious for the kitchen's skills. Steaks were not good, even salmon is not as well-prepared as it should be. But the baked good desserts were simply wonderful and exceptional. The views from the window tables are stunningly beautiful, and the restaurant furnishes each table with binoculars -- what a lovely touch!

We ate here several times during a two night stay. This is a typical National Park restaurant, no real competition so no real effort made. The breakfast buffet was basic and greasy. The dinner menu was pricey for basic food not that well cooked. Be warned, they have two menus, a restaurant menu and a deck menu. The restaurant menu... More

The service here was very slow, especially when ordering gluten free, but the management did make up for it by taking a percentage off our bill and giving us all free desserts. The portion sizes are a good value for what you get, and the meals were delicious. If you need a gluten free meal, be sure to speak with... More

With no where else to eat the Glacier bay Lodge Restaurant does a credible job. If need to eat dinner between 5 and 5:30 must sit outside in the cold-HELLO

It's too bad National Park Service has Aramark running all the great park lodges. You can always plan on mediocrity served up at high prices. Service, food quality, and prices at Glacier Bay fit the model. We stayed here because it is a grand park lodge with grand views. I'd probably check out one of the highly rated places in... More
