Service was imperial but food was very bland. I had enchiladas w egg & green chili, it all tasted the same, bland. Husband had the same opinion for his meal. Won't be back.

We were given the name of another Silver City restaurant for good Mexican food but we were short on time so we popped into Nancy's Cafe to grab something for the road. We were not disappointed! Although not on the menu they made a chile relleno burrito that was delicious. The chicken taco plate was great and the guacamole obviously... More

Tried this charming little cafe on the advice of a friend who grew up in the area. We were not disappointed. Great food!

This looks like a hole in the wall, greasy place that was last decorated in the 50's, but has the best Chili Rellenos and smothered in green chili, it is better than the best. A very local place, their sopapillas are light, hot and made on the spot.

Cheese enchiladas were yummy! Low key diner atmosphere. Very reasonably priced. No frills - just good comfort Mexican food.

Don't waste your time at Jalisco's if you want Mexican (and don't waste your time at Nancy's if you're looking to eat anything but). This may be a simple hole-in-the-wall, but there's no better Mexican food in town. This isn't Tex-Mex cooked up by whoever they could hire. It's hearty Chihuahuan/ Nuevo Mexicano food cooked by and for people of... More

The food was good, the ambiance that of a local diner, but I loved the green chile stew!! The prices were very reasonable, service good.

We have enjoyed several visits to Nancy's Silver Cafe while in Silver City this summer. It is located right in the middle of town and is one of those places that you want to be exceptional. Several dishes have met our expectations but we have also been slightly disappointed a couple of times. The green chile is terrific and the... More

After tiring of the upper-scale eateries along Bullard, we went to Nancy's because it's like places we have at home that are very good. I had a hamburger and my husband had chili rellenos. Both were not as good as what we get at home. If the service had been a little better we might have left happy, but the... More

Decor and service aren't exceptional but the food is great especially the stacked green chili cheese enchiladas and green chili stew.
