Good burritos

This little cafe is always full it seems. The parking lot always has any number of cars and pickups. People like to meet and eat here. The food is served quickly in a simple down to earth atmosphere. I always enjoy their shredded beef burritos and add cheese and guacamole. Good place for a quick... read more

You will not be disappointed if you like Menudo. If you like you can ask for "Extra Pansa". The menu has everything you would expect from a dinner, but the Mexican food fits right in Silver City that is an hour drive from Hatch, NM. I guarantee that is where they get the Green Chile and Red Chile they use.

Inconspicuous small restaurant but best breakfeast burrito ever ! With everything except potatoes, salsa inside - sensational ! And the whole day long.

Saw "grinders" and didn't see the small sub-title, "mexican food". Thought we'd choose a sandwich but, the menu was yummy sounding anyway. Husband's menudo, rellenos, and horchata were great. I enjoyed my tamales even though they were made with polenta instead of masa.

Grinder has the very best tamales in town. Quick and friendly service and you can dine in or take home. Many of the prices have gone up but the food quality and taste has stayed the same. Too pricey for the tamales...but they are the best tamales in town.

A good stop for a quick tasty authentic Mexican lunch. The atmosphere is a little less than desirable but the food is very good and worth it.

How do you take something as simple as a taco and turn it into something terrible? Read on. My family and I love to go check out the music at the Silver City Blues Festival over Memorial Day weekend. After an enjoyable day of sun and great grooves we decided to eat in our room. Using the hotel's guest book... More

My husband and I went to college at WNMU. The Grinder Mill was a part of our weekly life. We couldn't wait to head back to the grinder mill 20 years later during our recent vacation. It was like stepping back in time. Everything was the same. Even the shelf of coffee cups for the locals was still there! The... More

I had a taco salad, and it was delicious. Very greasy food but yummy. I would definitely call it comfort food. :)

Not a fancy place by any standard, but is a great cafe! Some of the food is pretty good. The green chile sauce was a bit salty and tasted canned to me. Prices are a bit higher than I would pay on a regular basis. Especially with La Cocina and Subway close by.
