I went hear twice and each time found the coffee and food very good. Staff were very friendly as were the patrons. Its a comfortable place with a crowd ranging from aging hippes to teenagers. caffinate here.

We were hoping for some good coffee and a light breakfast (i.e. pastry), and we chose the Javelina based on reviews. The wait was long, it was mid-morning but almost nothing was available in the way of food except some biscotti and wrapped cookies, and the coffee (latte & a mocha) was very average. I would not go again if... More

This is a great place for a morning coffee and a good book. There are many local people who are in & out, but the place is so inviting I enjoyed every moment spent there. I will be going here again!

Stopped in this morning for a cup of something wonderful to kill time until the shops opened. The very sweet lady behind the counter helped me figure out what would be yummy. Noticed that it is a gathering place for a huge cross-section of the population which made it even more interesting - young and old alike were using it... More

Coffee was tasty and I enjoyed the brick walls, high ceilings, big storefront windows and generally spacious interior. Wide variety of seating -- couches and tabletops -- for groups, couples or solo reading or laptop work and a funky, thrifted vibe to the decor.

Huge place, great vibe and coffee, local hangout. Their pastries are good and varied. Lots of couches and tables for relaxing or work.

I went here with my family - very comfortable place and good coffee. I had the regular coffee but tasted my brother's Irish cream - it was good. I liked the decor and seating arrangements. I would definitely visit again.

I've been coming here for years when I visit. The folks making the drinks are always pleasant & drinks come as ordered. The place is filled with old, but comfy furniture and they have free wi-fi available for customers, which is a major draw for me. I do think some of the prices are a little high, like $2.75 for... Odd folks sometimes but good coffee, free wifi, and lots of seating. Also has wall hookups for laptops!

A popular spot in Silver City, they have decent coffee and some pastries. They had things listed on their menu which they didn't actually have, like a frozen mango drink. They have the only ATM on that side of town which is handy, good wifi, and comfy surroundings where you can hang out for a while if you want. Nice... More
