Good food

The food was decent. The steamed veggies were over cooked but my catfish was good and my friends brisket was also good. Service was really good, ice tea glasses were never empty. We went for an early dinner so they are not busy, our food came out pretty quickly.

Our hostess seemed uninterested and didn't offer us kids menus for our two little ones. I saw a mention of 1/2 orders for kids on the regular menu so assumed that was my option. Jenny C, our server, was GREAT! She took good care of us despite being the only (apparently) server for the whole cafe during the lunch hour.... More

I love Mexican food, but I don't want it every night. There are very few choices in Silver City that are not Mexican. The Adobe Springs Cafe is an excellent exception. While I do not know the history of this establishment, it appears to have real adobe walls. The walls are certainly thick and interesting. The exterior isn't anything to... More

Awesome food and friendly service. Highly recommended! A bit tricky to find, but is completely worth it. The prices are great too!

Went there for breakfast after either I could not find a place in the old town. Open spacious with good service and food. It is on the main road so easy to find.

Plenty of choices with some "half" portions for those with smaller appetites. Definitely has a New Mexico twist. Service is friendly & food was served in good time. Coffee refills regularly.

We had a fantastic late breakfast on a Saturday. There was no waiting. I had Huevos Rancheros (with hashbrowns in) and my wife had a veggie and ham omelette. You get HUGE portions of fabulously delicious food. This is a real find in Silver City. (We got a to go container and had a great second breakfast the next morning... More

We went for a late lunch--about 2.30. They should have closed at 2, apparently. The waitress looked tired, was abrupt, and announced they were out of salsa--so only an extra-dry chicken appeared. The rice side dish was a lump congealed with cheese...haven't seen this in decades of eating Mexican food in the Southwest US and in Mexico; if they serve... More

We had three meals here in 8 days. The food was tasty and quickly prepared. The menu included much to choose from. The wait staff was very competent. The building was built in 1927 from original adobe and maintains much character, and displays lovely original art for purchase. Wine and beer selections were adequate and pricing was good.

Wow, what a great find! I had the croissante cristo breakfast sandwich which was turkey, ham and cheese on a croissant. It was a large croissant which was grilled French toast style but still flaky with powdered sugar as described by our waitress Jenny. It was great and quite a surprise with the hint of sweet combination which was not... More
