Excellent food

Enjoyed lunch here, not quite adventurous enough to try the chef's field gathered menu. Delicious soup, salad and sandwiches. Peanut butter cookie I bought to go was good, but a hint of chili spice in it, so don't expect normal here!

After several months of eyeing the dinner menu our family decided it was time to try the tasting menu at the Curious Kumquat. It was an evening event not to be missed. The food was fantastic and original…..the chef forages for several of the ingredients that were incorporated into creatively prepared original dishes such as acorn croquettes. We had 4... More

We returned to Silver City last weekend (March 14) and had yet another amazing tasting dinner at the Curious Kumquat. The CK is one of the things that makes Silver City such a great getaway weekend and we always make tasting dinner reservations in advance when we plan a trip there. The pre-dinner tasting items (which often feature locally raised... More

We were in Silver City for lunch after driving the Trail of the Mountain Spirits National Scenic Byway and hiking to see the Gila Cliff Dwellings. We needed, yes, needed, comforting, sustaining and delicious food and beer. We found it. We loved the medium rare elk burger plus the craft beer so much, so much! We drove an hour and... More

Great regular menu items with rotating specials for dinner. Desserts change daily. Always freshly made with high quality ingredients that you can really taste in the dishes. Fish tacos are one of my favorites here, but will not be disappointed with their soups, salads or sandwiches. Definitely a must try when visiting silver city.

Make reservations now. I did not, however chef Ron took care of me serving all but a few of the courses. Each was unique and tasty. The lamb was very good!

We had lunch here in February. We both had sandwiches that were average. We had heard that the gyros were great, but they sold out early. We ate inside, but if you eat outside, your dog can hang out with you. The inside consists of several small rooms. The tables are unique, and service was good. If the sandwiches had... More

The restaurant is cozy without being cramped. One feels like a guest in a friend's home and, in fact, the 3 tables in the corner in which I was seated chatted with each other. Service is friendly and efficient. The food was creative and delicious. I had the tasting menu with paired wines. Everything was really good. My favorites were... More

Enjoy the chef's creativity with local meats and other ingredients. Service can be slow sometimes, but food always comes from the kitchen timely.

There were 6 of us at the table--4 picked the tasting menu and my husband and I selected just the entrees. Our selections were delicious, but it was 2 hours before I finally asked for our salads (which usually come with the entree) because we were so hungry. Our friends thought all the tasting portions were delicious. I selected the... More

Thanks for the comment and we totally agree. We're happy to split a table up but it makes things a bit awkward. When the table splits like yours did we ask when they want the entrees for those not doing the tasting and the answer is noted on the ticket. In your case the ticket told me to send the... More
