I've enjoyed a nice supper here, but I had lunch here for the first time last Saturday. We arrived just after they opened, and there was only a couple of other people besides us, which is a shame, as the lunch was delicious. I had the half portion of the soup of the day and a Panini, the portions were... More

Just like mama would serve....a limited menu allows great flavor and fresh Italian. I've enjoyed most of the menu over the last year and return whenever I'm in the area. As a recent vegan, Vicki accommodated with a spicy vegetable ragu that was very tasty. Try the eggplant, or the sausage and peppers or the meatballs, or the lasagna and... More

Ate here for the first time yesterday. Very small place, but cozy and good atmosphere. I was a little put off by the minimal menu, but our dinners were excellent. The starter salad was just average, as was the bread. But my entrée (eggplant parmesan) was VERY VERY good, a large slice, well-prepared with lots of cheese, firm and flavorful... More

I love the fact the owners are hands on in this quaint Italian eatery. Very fresh home cooked Italian. The specials are always good and my favorite pre-vegan was the sausage and now as a vegan, the eggplant. Try them all and you can't go wrong.

As a recent vegan I was concerned I might not get to enjoy my favorite restaurant in Vincennes. Vicki's eggplant is better than most meats I can remember and get sauce is the perfect blend of flavors. This is still the gem of Vincennes. Can't wait to return soon.

My family and I stopped at La Cucina after driving a few hours from Paoli to see a concert and were on a tight schedule. Although it's a small space they were happy to accommodate our group of 6 and the friendly waitress helped us choose dishes that wouldn't take too long so we could make it to our concert... More

The food is Fantastic! Check their hours before you go. They close between lunch & dinner hours & I believe they are closed on Monday.

If you live in the Vincennes area or are returning to visit friends/family, or maybe you're just a businessman or vacationer passing through the historic little town of Vincennes and are looking for a great meal - well, paisans, it's LA CUCINA! Housed in a restored historic building beside the former Old State Bank of Indiana (Vincennes branch, circa 1838)... More

At the time we choose the restaurant is was #3 for restaurants in Vincennes. Since the first two were pizza and we had had pizza the night before we decided to go here. A restaurant by definition "a place to buy and eat a meal" that’s it here. I don't think they actually cook. It seats maybe 25-30 if every... More
