I had dinner at Cristina's while on a business trip to Greenpoint. The restaurant scene is getting very trendy in this area so it was great to go to an authentic Polish restaurant with excellent prices. Food and service was excellent. Decor is warm and comfortable.

Need a break from the shopping excitement in Williamsburg? So many places to choose from for lunch and I walked into this place on the appearance of the American-Polish cuisine posted on the menu in the window. I had a full plate of stuffed cabbage, a large grilled kielbasa, hot brown mustard, some mashed potatoes, wonderful pierogi and bigos, and... More

Restaurant is small but has nice decor and great atmosphere. There are a few booths and tables and also a bar where you can quickly grab a bite to eat. My favorite are definitely pierogis! My husband loves the Hungarian pancake served with meat. They also have delicious soups and we always the daily special and are never disappointed. You... More

I often go here on my weekly visits to NY, even though I live 50+ miles away from this eatery. It's a small basic local eatery in a Polish neighborhood. If you are looking for typical American cuisine, go elsewhere. If you want a flavor of little Poland, then give this restaurant a try. The waitresses often speak English as... More

Nothing special to rave about... We order omelets and it was sooo dry it was hard to cut it with a knife. Coffee was OK, but no H&H, only milk. U What trucked me the most was that I got very old and cheap utensils! Menu was very old and plastic was coming off from the corners. Unacceptable! I will... More

In the beginning I want to mention that I am Polish so I am familiar with Polish cuisine. I wanted to show my girlfriend typical Polish food since all she was familiar with were pierogi from Walmart. We dined in this restaurant several times. Location: Greenpoint. You cannot be any closer to Poland in NYC than that. Service: Do not... More

One of my goals in travelling to NYC was to visit the ethnic communities. Christina's is a Polish - American Restaurant in North-west Brooklyn: the Greenpoint district. This whole area is "real." That is to say, there is nothing special for tourists. The Polish community in Greenpoint is exactly that--a place where Polish-Americans live. Christina's restaurant is a small eatery... More

There seem to be employees everywhere but no one is paying attention. We walked in stood there for a few minutes, then walked all the way to the back bar, stood there a few minutes, employees buzzing around us but until we asked to be seated no one acknowledged us. The timing of the food was all off, my friend... More

We stayed in Greenpoint and ate several dinners at this restaurant. The food and the service were great. The atmosphere in the restaurant was equally charming: it had something of the American provincial diner/restaurant about it with local people and courting couples coming in to dine or order take-out food. You'll have to dine at a decent hour though, as... More
