You can pretend you're in Paris when you eat at Provence en Boite. On a recent Sunday, the food was well-prepared and tasty. A Bloody Mary was one of the best I've ever had and surprisingly inexpensive. Actually, all of the drinks there--from coffee to juice to wine to mixed drinks--looked enticing. Probably the best part of the dining experience,... More

This is a gem in a little Brooklyn neighborhood. Lovely omelets, fantastic cappuccino and lattes. The pastry: I can't stop raving over everything. It was like being back in Paris.

My girlfriend and I wanted to scout out a new restaurant in the area (there are so many) and we decided to give this one a try. It was a Monday, and the special (steak and frites) was recommended! It was and still is delicious, and I'm can't wait til I come on Thursdays for the Seafood special. Locals stop... More

July 24 Dinner Nice little place for quiet outdoors dinner. My daughter and I sat outdoors on a table on the side street, much quieter than the tables on Smith Street. I cannot recall the interior of the place or the decor except for the pastry case, old looking one filled with great looking pastries and desserts. Breads and other... More

And almost even more importantly with an outstanding patisserie. The baked goods are available for sale to take out from an early hour. Food is quite good; owners and food and atmosphere quite French (from Nice and Apt). Totally comfortable. Wines are not a strong point but you'll make out ok. Definitely easy for the Carrol Gardens, downtown Brooklyn, Park... More

I love this little place in Caroll Gardens, the almond croissant is the best I have had in the states. A wonderful place for an espresso and croissant.

Delicious food, good service, reasonable prices. All of us enjoyed our food. The pastries looked fabulous, and the chocolate almond croissant was just marvelous. My only complaint was the cold draft coming in the front door. Next time I will sit away from the door. Try this place, especially if you like great pastries.

We had brunch with a group of six. Each of us had something different that we loved. I had a crep with chicken and mushroom. We bought French bread and pastries to take to our cousins house for dinner and they were enjoyed by all. The service was friendly and very professional. I want to return many times!
