Delicious breakfast

Stopped in for a takeaway coffee on way to the park. Staff were so friendly and coffee so good we decided to have breakfast on the way back. Simply decorated, clean interior. Fantastic fresh/local produce and very tasty eggs!! A great breakfast experience and can cater for larger parties.

No surprise......great eggs! Lovely chilled environment and cool staff. First introduction to "grits" which may look like prison food but surprisingly delicious!

Arrived Sat morning with a friend and the wait was around 45 minutes, outside. Ordered Egg Rothko and it was pretty unique, just as chic as the place. Perfect brunch destination for a sunny, warm and lazy weekend

A nice little brunch spot in Brooklyn. The hashbrowns were unique and delicious, as was the candied bacon. Good French press coffee as well. Nice atmosphere.

3 friends and I discovered Egg when staying in Williamsburg in December, and were not dissapointed! I had 2 poached eggs on toast with a hash brown which was easily the best breakfast I had in 2015. We all enjoyed our meals so much we came back before we had to fly back to Scotland! The restaurant is very laid... More

Took a while to this place as TA had it listed as 5th street. But it turned out it was on 3rd. Deceptively large. We were seated immediately. Food was yum. Looks like it is inspired by the south with grits on the menu. We played it safe and wen for the pancakes and regular scrambled eggs which were excellent.... More

Be sure to try delicious their creative egg dishes when you are in Brooklyn. Highly recommend Eggs Rothco (egg with cheddar brioche) or omelet. Good service and worth a (short) wait.

The food was really good although nothing too fancy. However, we waited 45min to get a table (that's ok) but the guy at the entrance that was doing the seating was soooo rude. The rest of the staff was kind of weird too, like we were bothering them. Overall we left with a sense of overrated arrogant overly hipster place.... More

I had eggs at Egg , scrambled and they were delicious. All the other food was also carefully sourced and tasted great. As UK tourists, we were first timers in Brooklyn and two nice ladies at the next table drew a map for us of where to shop; they were regular diners at Egg and confirmed how good the food... More

We always make the effort to go to Egg when we are in NYC. The cheese grits are amazing. The ham and biscuits with gravy are delicious, really good comfort food.
