It's a fine enough cafe for sure, but totally sunk vs. its own hype. Fairly expensive for the portion sizes and long waiting times. Nothing particularly negative but don't believe the clamoring reputuation.

We went to brunch at a Egg with friends the day after a wedding after really good recommendations. Parking was a but tricky (I actually got a ticket 😞), but other friends got a good spot about a block away. The wait was about 30 minutes, but not bad. The service was good and the food was amazing. Very kid/family... More

I'm not sure what's the deal with this restaurant. Maybe a longer history of recommendations in the usual tour books, but the neighborhood really has so much more happening in the past 2 years. No one should be waiting for more than 30 minutes for some eggs and toast. There is nothing that can't be missed and if it's a... More

The old Egg location was sweet but small and impossible to get a table. I just recently had brunch at the new location, which is very nice and airy with lots more tables. Try the eggs Rothko. They offer French-pressed coffee instead of brewed coffee. Note the address is 109 N 3rd St, between Berry & Wythe (not N. 5th).

As the name of the place suggest, most places are done with different types of egg preparation. I had organic grits and eggs while my family members had different preparations and pancakes. Everything was very good -maybe the grits were a little bitter for my personal taste; or it could be I am not used to their taste. No reservations... More

This place becomes more & more crowded for weekend brunch. But if you come here for lunch in weekdays, it's easy to get a table right away. I'm living near this place, so everytime I'm in a mood for American breakfast, I go to this place & order pancake or waffle with hash brown, scrambled egg & sausage. This order... More

Arrive early to be sure of a place at this deservedly popular place. Breakfasts are great - tasty, with good sized portions at reasonable prices. They even have their own cook book!

There are not many breakfast places in Williamsburg especially that are open earlier in the morning!!! Egg is open and Egg serves and amazing breakfast. The menu is limited but what they do they do very well - a great omelet and everything tastes so fresh and nice!!!!
