Great breakfast with value for money

We ate a great filling breakfast here at a reasonable price. Service is very Nice and efficient. The Place seems to be very popular in the neighborhood

This was my first visit since they changed locations. We came on a Sunday (slight wait time but it was sunny outside) and then again on a weekday morning (no wait). They will not seat your party until everyone is present. Decor is very simply, somewhat Scandinavian. Food is great. You may think the portions are small in comparison to... More

Nice, friendly place and good omelette but it reminded me why I hadn’t had breakfast all week. American breakfast menus put all sorts of interesting things together and I ended up with a lovely cheese omelette combined with chorizo (more like ground meat than the slices we are used to in Europe) topped with a jalapeno sauce and accompanied by... Had brunch on Sunday with my son who lives in Brooklyn. Even though it was cold it was packed, yet the wait was very reasonable. The restaurant is simple, minimalistic and clean. Same goes for the menu, simple. Enough items to have a choice, not so extensive that it is confusing. I think that is the secret. Their food is... More

We went there on Sunday at 9 and there were free tables. At 10 there was already a line forming. Egg rothko with kale was great. Many families with small children were there. Reminded me of Prenzlauer Berg cafes in Berlin:)

Yummy breakfast with lots to choose from and a nice change to British breakfasts I am used to having. it's a lovely cafe, light and airy. What makes this place different is the white paper table covers that you can draw on with the crayons provided - great idea!

We stumbled in here on a whim and were very pleased by what we found. Ok, so the door policy of "write your name down on this and then stand outside" was odd, impersonal and ridiculous when there were clearly ten tables free inside. Nevertheless, we enjoyed learning about southern food ("erm, what are grits? What is scrapple? Why would... More

Recent visit to NYC w/new friends in Williamsburg area of Brooklyn...He says, "are you hungry? Let's go to my favorite place, Egg." Need I say more? really? Good clear, clean energy. Excellent choices and staff flexibility for slight changes. All three of us were very happy campers.

This is a popular restaurant on the weekends - but the line moved quickly - we only had a 20 minute wait. And it was worth the wait. I had the omelet - light, fluffy, cheesy. No overcooked eggs here. My dining companion had the eggs Rothko - again, excellent. The brioche was light and buttery. I like the new... More
