Nice place for brunch. I think Egg is a great way to start your day if you are visiting Williamsburg.
This is a great brunch spot. We went on a quiet weekday morning... it was pretty empty and the service was attentive and quick. I had french toast which was yummy, I could have licked my plate. the rest of my mates had eggs, of somekind, which rated highly.
As a couple, we had two different experiences. I didn't like it but my friend did so I will admit that I was maybe just wrong in my choices. If you like eggs, of course you will find this place cool. The waiting list was long and the seats are uncomfortable. Williamsburg is a very nice area so you still... More
Ate here before watching the ing nyc marathon. Food was good. Although the wait was long I felt like it moved quick for the amount of people on the list.
I stopped by Egg for some late lunch. It was busy, but the wait was not long at all. I had the french press coffee and the ham biscuit with a side of grits. The ham biscuit was delicious, but the ham was on the dry side, but the jelly made up for it. Service is ok, not the best.
Ate here once, the service was way too pretentious for the okay food which is basically southern food in New York portions...
The line was pretty long at 3pm but it would have been worth it if the food was amazing. At last, I thought that the food was decent but exceptionally amazing. I had a egg rinko. it has an egg within the toast. and it has 2 sausages and one bread with tomatoes on top. i also added a biscuit... More
Originally read up on Egg on the internet. Sounded like a popular well recommended brunch spot. There was a sign up wait list sheet. Wait wasn’t too bad as most people end up leaving. The venue is long and narrow, so there’s not much seating. So many things on the menu I wanted to try. French inspired but not over... More
It was the first time for us there last week. It was a beautiful day, so we could actually enjoy the out door seating. We all had a great breakfast. Others seem to like it as well. Be prepared to wait a little....it's worth it so.
We had heard that this was one of the best breakfast places so we walked the bridge over from Manhattan. Good egg dishes, biscuits and gravy, and fresh squeezed juices - worth the trip!
