Best breakfast in Williamsburg

Had breakfast here one morning. The french toast is delicious and there are even crayons provided for entertainment. Service is friendly and warm too! Highly recommended.

Very popular place in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, which is really the new hip place to hang out (the area that is). This place gets very busy on the weekend so if you can get there by 9am you will have greater chances of being seated fast (no reservations). Great variety on the brunch menu from light to heavier dishes. Mostly it... More

I have been to 'Egg' a few times while in Willamsburg and it is one of my favorite places. Even their steel-cut oats are quite worth the detour. There is often a line up but it is worth waiting as tables turn quickly. Plus they have some crayons on the table for doodling while you wait for your coffee :)

The menu offers basic but good selections. Not sure why the place is so popular - food was good but not outstanding. Wait at 10am on a saturday was about half hour, so not terrible. Staff was very attentive. Recommended, but not worth a long wait.

We had a little bit of a wait for noon brunch on a Saturday, but that is expected! Very cute place! I ordered the Eggs Rothko which was like a soft runny egg in the nest with boiled tomatoes and kale. It was superb!

Our food was fantastic! We had the duck confit and the scrapple and pancakes. Really tasty. Our waitress seemed a bit distracted. We had to look for her every time we needed something.....as in to order or to get our check. She was really sweet just not really there. Cool place though. I think we will go back.

It's a perfect brunch spot. The restaurant is refreshingly open and spacious with a pleasant, minimalist ambiance. Expect a wait anytime between 11-1pm and don't crowd the entrance area or else the hostess will scold you! My favorite thing about egg is that they cover the tables with white paper and provide crayons to doodle on it! I don't care... More

I spotted egg's sign the night before I went there for breakfast on our way to the German bar next door after a show at Brooklyn Bowl. The small, simple white and black sign caught my eye. I ordered an orange juice and the 'two eggs any style' breakfast. First, the juice was fresh squeezed. Yum. I asked for scrambled... More
